We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Ability to link/sync trainerize calendar with other calendar platforms (e.g Google Calendar, IOS, Android calendars etc)

    Ability to link/sync trainerize calendar with other calendar platforms (e.g Google Calendar, IOS, Android calendars etc) so clients can merge this with their current schedules.

    (TeamApp might be a good example of this integration as the once synced with your personal calendar, the calendar updates automatically whenever TeamApp is updated)

  4. Turn off Interval Workout Voice 'Encouragement'

    Please return the option for turning off 'new interval workouts' where the timer gives you encouragements. They are very annoying to my clients. I was inundated with so many requests to switch them off in the past week, and complaints that they ruin the workout!
    Simply turning down the volume doesn't work, because the basic announcements need to be there for the client to know when to move on to the next exercise. Otherwise they have to watch their phone. Several of my clients are now bypassing the Trainerize app altogether and are just using a generic phone timer which…

  5. See comments made from previous weeks workout DURING a workout

    Otherwise we have to get out of the workout, go into calendar, scroll up access workout... etc. Would be cool to have a button to view past workout comments mid workout.

  6. You cant back date food or account for a second lunch or dinner

    Attach meals for previous days if you forget
    Attach multiple of the same meal type if you occasionally have a second dinner or tea

  7. Meditation

    For the purposes of tracking this suggested activity as an incentive to help improve one's own mental health and well-being. I started doing daily meditations as part of this program and I am beginning to understand some of the benefits of the practice. I think that it would be great to be able to keep track of it in the app.

  8. Adding a different exercise instead of substituting and it not go to the bottom

    If you do one set of an exercise but decide you want to do or sub or with something else. Adding a different exercise at the place you’re at in your work out. Not at the bottom.

  9. Don’t preload workouts on my calendar.

    The app preloads my workouts with no rhyme or reason and I have to delete them. I would prefer to schedule my workouts without having to deal with the preloaded ones.

  15. Integrate calories and macro tracking data with Apple Health

    I hate using MyFitnessPal, there are better apps in the iOS App Store. It would be better to just retrieve the data from Apple Health so there is one source of truth. I use LoseIt which feeds data into Apple Health, so Trainerize can be app-agnostic.

  16. Built in prep/rest time for workouts for non-interval workouts

    I know interval workouts from your trainer has programmed timers, but with non-interval timers, you have to manually start it, which doesn’t give you enough time to set the phone down and start your reps. Would be good to have a built in prep time to get prepared before just going stratigraphy into the timer.

  18. Have each meal auto as “snack”

    When we go to enter a meal, it should divert to “snack” right away so we don’t have to change it, this saves us a step if we’ve already logged our breakfast it still pops up “breakfast” and you you have to change it to snack.

    Im usually in a hurry when I’m logging my meals so this can be irritating if it’s doing this every meal.

  19. Add WW (weight watchers) app for meal tracking

    I would like to have the option to connect and transfer food tracking from Weight Watchers app. I find their app easy to use to track and scan meals, create recipes too and save them.

    The ability to split a workout into separate sessions on the same day and track each workout as a separate workout.
