We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. prompt to end workout like apple activities do based on HR

    I often forget to end my workouts - this runs the battery down and throws off my workout times. Apple activities prompt me to end my workout when my HR returns to a rest. I can then choose to dismiss or end workout. If trainerize could do that it would be so helpful.

  3. Open the videos in landscape immediately

    The default functionality should be to open the videos in landscape without having to tilt or click the video twice from the list of exercises screen. Wastes time every time I work.

  4. Meal portion tracker

    I use my hand to approximate my portions of each category; protein, veggies, carbs and fats. I'm supposed to eat 5 servings of protein, 6 servings of veggies and so on. If there was a tick box where I could tick off when I've eaten one of those portions it would be easier to make sure I get all my portions every day.

  5. Add Workout New Freestyle

    I like the add Workout New Freestyle but if I search the Class and select, wish it overwrote "Freestyle Workout" with the name of the Class I searched and found.

  6. Literally make your app the same as “strong” app. Make it an app that people want to use without their trainer making them.

    This app is trash. Can’t put notes on exercises/sets. Can’t add a “drop set” etc. - this should be a feature considering the PT needs feedback.
    Layout is terrible - only reason people use this app is because of their PT - make it an app people want to use even without a PT.

  7. Look at My Plate App by live strong!

    This My Plate app runs smoothly! Adapt food app in trainerize to visually be more user friendly. Add a place for keeping track of water.
    Put visuals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, workout, weight and water on opening. The add a food seems clunky to start with. The food app in trainerize needs to flow more smoothly.

  8. Provide a search function for video

    I scroll through endless workout videos posted by my trainers. I would love a magnifying glass search function to find the videos I'm looking for quickly.

  9. Let the user add in the exercises they did and machines used in a workout session

    Right now only the trainer can add exercises for a workout session, I would like to add ones I did too on a day I'm not training

  11. Add a section to each meal where vitamins and supplements can be tracked. The kind and if you took it.

    Just an area to add which supplements I took with each meal so my trainer can see without having to go find my supp plan. And also for visibility for myself to see that I took everything I was supposed to at the correct time.

  12. Provide a way to provide team chats for smaller group accountability where others can see food workouts etc.

    The idea is to have small group accountability and facilitate conversations with people we enrolled etc.

  13. Create a Workout partner message forum

    Not many people like being disrupted at the gym, what if there was a way to have those introductions without interruption. People looking for a workout buddy could comment in a forum describing type(s) of workouts, day(s)/time of the week for such workouts & fitness goals. (Could possibly be operated as a group within the training app)

  15. Make progress Photo private

    Be able to upload progress photos and make them private so the trainer can't see them but so you can make them accessible to the trainer when you feel comfortable

  16. Add decimals on IOS

    App isn’t allowing the entry of less than 1 g or portions of a gram. In iOS, the decimal function is not available.

  17. Ability to reset the weight or number of reps for a particular exercise

    Sometimes errors are made in entering reps or weights and once saved there is no way to go back and edit a historical workout or reset the stats (max rep / weight) of a particular exercise.
    There should be a way to access your workout data in calendar form to find and edit workouts and exercise statistics.

  19. Time of appointment reminder

    On the calendar where your workout for the day is posted, it doesn’t remind you of the time you scheduled your appointment . It would be nice to have the time off appointment on there as well.

  20. My fitness workout al is not syncing

    I have gone through all troubleshooting suggestions and My Fitness Pal is still not updating my food correctly. My trainer and I have been unable to get it to sync so she can see it. It is frustrating to say the least.
