Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Implemented a similar model

    Hi everyone,
    I am testing a hybrid coaching process between online and in-person for group clients (4-6 people), in which most of the exercises are assigned via Trainerize, and the check-in about diet and lifestyle habits is done via Zoom in groups every week.
    I would like to ask: Has anyone implemented a similar model and how do you track progress and group interactions to maintain engagement?

  2. Bring back max weight for rep counts outside of 1, 3, 5, 10 reps

    Recently we have noticed that the app used to show max weight for any rep range. Example: currently, in our A series superset we are doing a descending rep range of 10, 10, 6, 6, 6 with heavier weight on the 6 reps. At the end of the workout, the end of workout summary doesn't show "Max Weight Ever" for the 6 rep but it does show for the 10 rep. Not a big deal, but it used to show the ranges outside of 1, 3, 5, 10 reps. If this is a setting change, I am open to suggestions.…

  4. View clients daily summary on overview instead of having to go through their individual calendars

    I really want a feature available where we can click on overview and see what's on ahead for that day for our clients. this would be much more useful if I had to check in with a client or remind them to train if they haven't already. It just gives a bit more of a comprehensive overview as a coach on what should be done on the day and if it hasn't, to bring it up with them.   5. Add MILESTONES to Recent Activities under Events

    If MILESTONES were a part of the drop down under Recent Activities it'd allow us to quickly see a snapshot of what our clients are doing. Extra bonus, if the app kept track of total workouts of all clients!! It'd be really helpful for us from a marketing perspective.

  6. Improve Progress Chart Data On Desktop View

    On my iphone I am able to see the clients caloric burn in a vertical list beneath the chart, so I can see atual numbers and calculate their average if need be.
    Would it be possible to see this on the desktop as well?

    In the phone app it is also easier to compare progress pics side by side, but not on the desktop.
    Lastly, I'm sure this is a part of many other several requests, but can there be generate a summary of their data for a select period of time via spreadsheet?

  9. emails to trainers

    those 1am central emails we receive, trainers should have the option to see what metrics they want a daily report about at 1am. like if they exceeded their calorie maximum, if they his their protein minimum, if they hit their sleep, and hit their water goal. or any other habit but at least those.

    it doesnt have to be the same daily report metric for every client.

    the trainer has the option which metrics he/she receives a daily report about for each and every client. big time saver

    When opening up "PROGRESS" for a client, it doesn't automatically show their photos, this is the LAST thing needed working in a public space, which happens on the regular I'm willing to bet

    Is it possible to add a feature to the dashboard for Lean Muscle Mass? Alot of the body composition testing results for DEXA and InBody include this and it would be nice for clients to also track with their body comp. stats.

  12. Client need to be able to see lifts performed on last session with same exercise.

    Is it possible to create way in the app where client can see within workout what was weights was performed on last session. Ideally that need to seen next to or in the window where client type his lifts. This is basic but very important fiture, must have. For progress overload managing. At the moment its requires too many steps to see last sessions data. Client have to make screenshots to compare. Its all now too complicated and requires too many steps to go back. Its brilliant app, that only few thins added/ modified slightly for very best user experience.…

  13. Is there a way to have the app track the exercises that they have done that week, month, last 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and year?

    Exercises need to have a chart. So I don’t have to go to each workout in every profile to look at each exercise. I need a chart that shows every exercise they have done, dates it was done and the times it was done with reps, sets and weight. This helps me as the trainer know easily their progression. How to cycle their next periodization plan. If we are meeting their goals in strength training.

  14. when you delete past habits, it still shows up under the "progress by habits" tab. It should delete from there as well.

    I noticed when i was looking at my clients progress, I checked out the progress by habits tab and it had all there past habits loaded in there as well. I went to the past habits tab and deleted them all, but they still show up under the Progress by Habits tab.

  15. Add in-body follow-up feature <3

    To add a catogary that has all inbody info in progress, both coatch and client can edit
    (Body fat mass and %, body muscel mass, water retention..)
    and ibody test can be scanned there as well

  16. Managing client progress each week

    Hey there!
    I have just began with your app and I have a request or feedback.
    Is there a way to see the previous weeks data, side by side with the current week. This way I can see what weight the client was lifting the previous week and we can aim to increase for the current week. I’ve done this on excel and it works like a charm. Motivated client to push harder than last week. This would need to be made so that it’s on the same page as the current active workout.

  17. Rewards Program for Appointments/Classes attended, workouts/habits completed, nutrition compliance etc.

    Incentivizing clients with a rewards program would be very helpful to help appointment/class attendance, exercise/habit/nutrition compliance.

  18. Reviewing a workout through a date range when the workout is repeated more than once

    It would be great to be able to review a client's w/o when repeated more than once to see how the client has progressed over the weeks they have been repeating the workout. Eg Weights and reps.
    Example:
    A client is set a w/o to do once a week ver four weeks.

    If I want to review their progress after the four week period, I’d like to go to “Progress by workout”, select the w/o and the date range from beginning to end of the four weeks.

  19. Filter Persistence Issue in Exercise Progress Section

    Hi Trainerize Team!!

    I’ve noticed an issue with the filter in the Progress Exercises section. When I select a filter option other than "Estimated 1 Rep Max" and then switch to a different exercise, the filter automatically resets to "Estimated 1 Rep Max."

    Could you please make it so that the filter setting remains consistent across exercises until it is manually changed by the user?

  20. Can we please have a way of getting all of a clients weights into a spreadsheet document?

    Hi, can we please have a way of downloading a clients weights with the date of each weigh-in in the form of a spreadsheet? The graphs that are generated by the app never start at zero so I have been manually copying some clients weights and dates into a spread sheet to create a line graph that starts at 0 and goes up by 10kg increments to get a better look at their weightloss over time. As you can imagine this is a VERY timely process so it would be nice if we could access this data in spreadsheet format.…
