Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Be able to change the calories and macros - but keep meals the same

    If a client wants to keep the same meals but go into a cut where they are reducing calories - it would be great that the meals did not auto change - or given the option to keep the same or regenerate the meal plan.

  3. Allow trainers to see how many times they have regenerated a meal plan

    Hello,

    I would like to know how many times I have regenerated a meal plan for a client. Sometimes I forget to note the regeneration, and I would like to go back to something or at least see something saying I have done 2 or 3 meal plan regenerations for a client that has the meal planning feature.

    The nutrition software should be updated to incorporate a ketogenic protocol to offer a more personalized and flexible approach to client nutrition. Many individuals are increasingly adopting ketogenic diets for health benefits such as improved fat metabolism, enhanced cognitive function, and better blood sugar regulation. By incorporating this protocol, the app can cater to clients seeking a low-carb, high-fat dietary option tailored to their goals, whether for weight loss, metabolic health, or performance enhancement. Expanding the app’s nutrition protocols to include keto will provide greater versatility and help meet the evolving needs of diverse client profiles.

  5. Simple and delicious Recipes

    With the cost of inflation- simplified recipes that people will actually eat and can afford would be great. Though I enjoy some of the recipe options available, I know as a single mom myself that eating healthy is already difficult with the costs of healthy foods, but to have recipes with a long list of fancy ingredients makes that goal out of reach for a lot of my clients.

  7. I want to be able to add my own recipes.

    Why can't I add my own recipes? I don't like the limitations of having to your recipes. I want to be able to add my own and build a plan that then also creates a grocery list for my clients, along with a full breakdown of nutrition for each meal.

  8. Meal Planner Suggestion

    Hi, I have some ideas or suggestions for the meal planner from a coach’s perspective. The macro percentages could have more options, or the option to switch to grams. Clients trying to build muscle often have eccessively high protein intakes when taking up their calories, as the protein is always 30 %. Similarly, when going lower in calories, I think the protein amount should stay the same, by having the ability to adjust grams, not percentages.

    I also think for outside the USA coaches and clients, some more simple recipes could be added, that don’t include hard to find ingredients…

  9. Master Library Meal Plans, Smart Meal Generator for custom recipes/meals

    As coach I want to be able to make Master Library Meal Plans and auto calculate portion sizes based on my own/custom recipes.

    Smart Meal Generator for custom meals too, to individualize the plans for my clients for their individual calorie/macro goal. But everything based on the recipes I recommend.

  10. Custom Recipe Library

    Please give clients the option to view the entire library of custom recipes/meals. All recipes I recommend our clients shown in a overview.

    I want them to be able to track with MyFitnessPal AND see all our recipes within a Overview. A online Recipe INSPO Page for their own tracking.

  11. you should be able to rename and reorder the meals on the smart planner. for example "pre-workout meal" and "post-workout meal"

    for a high calorie smart meal meal plan, it currently has 3 meals and 3 snacks in-between. You should be able to reorder those so depending on how a clients day looks and when they will be training and when they will be able to fit their bigger meals in

  12. Swap a meal using custom recipes

    The ability to swap a meal and find one of our custom recipes, not just the ones already in Trainerize. I don't even understand how this isn't available.

  13. Up the game on the MEAL PLANNER!

    You guys need to have more vegan dishes + fiilters and options for the planner like change the macro % split, add like unprocess/process food options, EXCLUDE foods for people allergic like for example Broccoli, or a specific food, etc. Basically upping the game.

    Would be nice to have a meal plan option that accommodates bariatric clients and the goals they need post surgery

    Make the search, when your adding meals. more sensitive. like key words. for example. chicken, beef, broccoli, raw, pineapple,

    If I look at the daily meals, apart from seeing the food recipes, I would like to get a view of the total Fat, Protein and Carb view at a glance, that way I can adjust recipes

  20. Make the meal plans more for 1-2 day prep

    Most clients want to make food for 2-3 days, and eat the same meal numerous times that week. Can we copy a meal to other days, or come up with batch cooking meals?
