Option to change exercises when scheduling progressions
We need the option to change exercises when scheduling progressions, and not just the set and rep targets. Right now, we have to rebuild the workout when it is time to advance from one exercise to another (progressing from incline pushups to floor pushups for instance). If we were able to schedule out those changes so that we could make progressions with incrementally different exercises instead of just sets and reps, it would save a TON of time.
Here's how I can see it implemented: On the current progression scheduler, we have the first column as a list of the exercises from the workout, then the rest of the columns are scheduled dates that you can adjust sets and reps with. Simply add a column to each scheduled date that lists the exercises like the first column, but you can click on them and type in a different one from your exercise library to change it.

This needs to be done!

The idea of the progression spreadsheet is great - but the functionality makes 0 sense. Because progression is not just based on sets/reps/weight - it can be a more advanced movement.
A great feature would be the ability to swap an excerise within a progressed workout - that gives you full control; and saves the hassle of having to copy a workout just to change 1 exercise - which is a slow process

As we edit the progression reps and sets if we would be able to switch certain movements out.

When doing the advanced programming feature, having the ability to substitute exercises would be helpful. For example, in week 3 of a program I want to switch my client from a goblet squat to a barbell back squat but within the same workout rather than create a new workout

A lot of times, especially for newer clients, adding reps or weight isn't the best way to progress an exercises. Sometimes its going from box squat to bodyweight squat, or overhead press to push press.
Let us change exercises within the progression spreadsheet in addition to modifying reps and sets

1000% yes! much needed feature. A lot of times a progression is more than just do 1 more rep or add 5lbs. A movement variation is a common progression

There are times when exercises need to change mid-cycle. However, when this is currently done, it is not reflected on the client's view when they go through the scheduled day on the app. It has been said the trainer must reschedule the training day, but as a trainer, if I have already programmed out a rough idea for a cycle with progressions and deloads etc., this increases the workload and requires I do that same work all over again. Thus, it would be incredibly beneficial if Trainerize created an algorithm or feature that allows for exercise selection updates to be reflected without having to reschedule and design the entirety of a training cycle again.

More streamless progressions feature so we can edit easier and change exercises

Yeah, we have master programs that we then copy to the client’s profile. That is helpful of course, however, if I want to chance the exercise selection (day going from squats to pause squats) the progression is wiped out OR the calendar / PLAN don’t match.
It would be great if changes in exercise selection did not impact the progressions. This way coaches could have master progressions but simply change the exercises for a given client. Does this make sense?

Agreed this would save so much time and make the programs more streamlined and user friendly
