Integrate with my fitness pal

I agree with everyone-- nutrition is essential! Integration of My Fitness Pal would work great and probably be the easiest!
Also-- include a nutrition link on the clients profile where trainers can input total daily caloric need and macros.
Lastly, a section where trainers can upload PDF files for clients and clients can easily view/download them!

Link with MyFitnessPal! Able to download the data from a weekly food diary! like percentages, kcal, all the dietary values to trainerize and see it as a graph, compare it with other weeks/months etc...

I think somewhere simple that allows you to input your own meal plans that the client can follow. A simple excel spreadsheet that can be filled out could be an option,

A link with a nutrition app like Myfitnesspal would be nice. I think that is less work than creating a whole nutrition module in Trainerize.
Creating a meal plan for a customer should be restricted to setting specific goals for nutrition for instance 2000cal a day and let the customer use a nutrition app to create their own food plan.
If you are going to create a 24/7 nutrition plan for a customer, for instance, eat this in the morning, this for lunch, this for dinner and do this for every day this would become a huge planning job for you as a trainer.
I believe this would be hard for your clients to keep up with the strict plan you give them.
So, a link with a nutrition app should cover the nutritional advice you can give your clients. -

ESSENTIAL!
You can have it extremely basic at first, just to have it on. A place where you can make a template similar to workouts and just let the trainer add foods under the headings of protein, carbs and fats. A box next to each stating their g's per each and maybe this will calculate the cals automatically and even a % box to see what % of each macro you are representing in the overall diet maybe, but this can always wait.
Even a blank box where we can type everything and save it would do right now and send it along with the workout.
Would look like:
Carbs:
Sweet Potato - 100g - 400 cals
Oats - 80g - 240 cals
Total: 180g - 640 cals - 30% -

I agree with what everyone has said stated below. People that are looking to signing up for sessions or monthly packages are also asking for the nutritional aspect which is super critical.
Creating a basic template that can be used for clients nutritional needs would be awesome.

Love what I see with this program so far but I can't use it unless it has a nutrition feature. Nutrition is the foundation of my business. I agree with everyone else's ideas and comments. I hope this gets added on so I can use your software. Thanks :)

Im looking for a way to allow my clients to log their foods that will specifically be geared to letting a client see their daily macro's (calories, Protein, Carbohydrates and Fats)
Im sure that you don't need to reinvent the wheel on this one, as there are already programs such as "MyMacrosPlus" and even "myfitnesspal" that have a great jump on this, Im sure they would love to tap into your customer base and integrate their system to yours in the effort of maximum exposure.

I would love a system where clients can check off the meals that they eaten or you give them their diet and all they have to do is check a box that says they did or didn't eat it.

Keep it simple and don't reinvent the wheel. Just get on it, and do it. Shouldn't be that complex :)
For clients: Input total calories and macros into the app so that the trainer can see the big picture. App should also be able to import from MyFitnessPal's API (or other apps) so that clients could count with other app and the process would be automatic.
For trainers: Be able to set total calories and macros.

I feel that the nutrition section of trainerize should be some type of database that can store mealplans as well as have a running list of all type of foods that a person can eat. Similar to calorie apps. Clients would be able to easily drag and drop foods that they have eaten on their smartphones unto a type of daily calendar. The design would have to be edit savvy to where you can edit the amount of servings, portion/cup size, esc for the client.
Just my thought.
