Free Trial Period without credit card
I want to create a program where I can "sell" a 1 week free trial. With payments they have to put in a CC number before they can move on and I think that will scare everyone away. I would like for it to only require a payment if the cost is greater than .01

Agree with Kylie, Joe's comment below seems like the best answer to what we all want - allow $0 products with no credit card in Trainerize pay

7-14 days free, no credit card as that will deter people. Auto messages to upsell.
Joe's comment below seems like a very simple option - allow $0 products with no credit card in Trainerize pay

An opt-in style system would work.
-What kind of free trial offers you are currently running?3 day
5 day
7 Day
14 Day
30 Day- Where do you/would you list your free trial offers?
Free trials would be listed as a marketing feature on social and our website, it would be nice to have a sign up link via email/contact info on the main trainerize page. This way we could collect contact info on site visits.- Any program/meal plan/etc automations required on sign up?
Standard new client automations..- How long is the trial for?
3 day
5 day
7 Day
14 Day
30 Day- What happens at the end of the trial?
Similar to missed payment process, 5-7 days before the trial ends provide an option to upgrade, during the trial- Do you want their credit card collected upfront to upsell them to another product? Or be credit card free?
Instead of collecting up front, make certain app features like meal tracking or two way messaging available only for paying subscribers. -

-Free 7 day trial.
-Credit Card placed on file upon enrollment
-Can cancel any time within the 7 days
-Automatic enrollment into a (default) program if not cancelled in the 7 day window. The program that they would automatically roll into could be configured on the back end and selected by the business owner. -

just allow us to do a Trainerize Pay product (with standard automations) for $0 and/or without a credit card.

I would want a free product with no credit card info when I do sample workouts or as a supplement to my other online courses that I run. So my purposes would not be for a free trial, rather as an add-on to other online courses. I would want automation set up with it.

In direct response to your quesitons:
5 day fitness trial(allows user to get to know this inside of the app/do some minimal training)
Would list free trial offers through a "product link" which would be available in my LinkTree which is on YouTube, IG, website, Twitter etc etc
No program/meal plan/etc automations required on sign up
End of trial would give automated message asking what user wants to do moving forward which turns to a manual conversation and manual link drop in the chat.
Credit card collected on the backend. Yes please be credit card free. If I have to offer a free trial then it's obvious I have more work to do to build trust with this potential client.
A free trial is all about getting the user in the ecosystem.

Yes, please add this feature. I desperately need this for my program. I just don't find it useful to provide a trial of my program but require credit card information.

I second all of what Adam said! 3 day or 7 day free trials able to market on my website, automation, and at the end of the trial be charged a rate we can choose the time frame of recurring payments, set up bi-weekly, every 21 days, or monthly, depending on the program. Credit card up front one and done or at least the option for that.

-I'd love to be able to offer 3-day or 7-day free trials.
-I would market it on my website and IG with a clickable link leading back to checkout page.
-Same automation options as provided with other core product offerings.
-At the end of the trial, they would be charged the normal rate for that product... whether it's set up for monthly, bi-weekly, etc.
-Yes, credit card info captured at the beginning. Or at least the option to do so. -

I definitely don’t agree with “not” entering in a credit card number. It needs to be treated like Netflix etc. You enter in your payment info, subscribe, get your first week free but then payments automatically begin unless you cancel first. ALSO, could we create a feature that provides a 1-week free trial and/or 14-day free trial... however, reoccurring payments could be set up for a different duration (for example, monthly)?

Let clients join trainerize at no cost to the trainer for 30 days so we can onboard them just like PT Distinction, would like to run free trials without having to pay extra for each person.

option 1 - Have a dummy credit card option on the payment screen. This way clients can use that dummy credit card to buy the product( Trial or other products) and eventually have to change to their own CC if a trainer decides to sell them a different product.
Option 2 - If a product a 100% discounted, it shouldn't ask for the credit card info. Trail or any other product can be discounted and links can be sent via emails/social media/ website etc. -

Worked at a tech company. Watching Trevor respond reminds me of our product manager. If you suggest something you better be ready for the questions coming. Nothing to do with the app but made my day

No credit card info should be taken! Allow to set price to $0 and have it last 7 days. I would include 1 workout scheduled each day, then they can get a feel for our programming and the app functions like tracking workouts, push notifications and ease of use

Please add a direct link to the consultation form so potential clients can just fill them out instead of me sending it out to each person. It would be cool to put that direct link on out Instagram Bio. or other social media platforms
