Free Trial Period without credit card
I want to create a program where I can "sell" a 1 week free trial. With payments they have to put in a CC number before they can move on and I think that will scare everyone away. I would like for it to only require a payment if the cost is greater than .01

MAIN IS TRAINERIZE SHOULD NOT CHARGE ME FOR MY CLIENTS UNTIL THEY ARE ON FREE TRIAL, TRIAL PERIOD FLEXIBLE UPTO 1 MONTH AND OPTION TO TRAINER TO COLLECT CC OR NOT COLLECT CC AT TIME OF SIGN UP FOR FREE TRIAL, OR AFTER CERTAIN DAYS INTO THE TRIAL, ETC.
- What kind of free trial offers you are currently running? -
i want to offer free upto 1 month trial, so i dont want to be charged for that client by trainerize either. Trainer should also allow me to have client free, give me option whether i want to collect CC or not, and give options to do this upto 1 month depending on how many days trial i want to offer.- Where do you/would you list your free trial offers? on my own domain website
- Any program/meal plan/etc automations required on sign up? - not thought abt this yet but if u have any ideas great :)
- How long is the trial for? flexible upto 1 month atleast
- What happens at the end of the trial? client either buys the paid program or goes does not buy and goes into offline mode and i keep sending them emails to encourage them to buy the product/ package
- Do you want their credit card collected upfront to upsell them to another product? Or be credit card free? NO credit card, depends on every trainer, so give an option to trainer.

We need to be able to compete with all other fitness apps coming to the fold. 100% we need a 14 day trial. Credit card info upfront which inform clients they won't be charged until after trial period, and they can cancel before the end of the trial period.

100%! I have emailed them about this a few times. Some of us have lots of clients and have memberships where we NEED automation.
It is insane why they haven't done this while other PT apps have, i.e., PT HUB. In fact, I am still with PT HUB and haven't left BECAUSE of this. I haven't fully committed to Trainerize and this is the primary reason why (plus PT HUB is priced better).
Trainerize: GET IT TOGETHER.

With CC entered, 7 day free trial. Afterwards their card is charged and they are transferred over to the month to month membership program.
- Where do you/would you list your free trial offers?
Right now I use manychat and zapier. If they send a message to me on FB it takes them through a process to customize their workout for the free trial and collects their cc info.
- Any program/meal plan/etc automations required on sign up?
The program is "customized" through many chat. Home vs gym. How many days? Injuries? and then Zapier will give them one of my workouts I've built.
- How long is the trial for?
7 days.
- What happens at the end of the trial?
Manually have to subscribe them to my membership month to month master program ;(
- Do you want their credit card collected upfront to upsell them to another product? Or be credit card free?
Yes collect up front. otherwise they waste seats and I have to pay a ton for a bunch of free loaders -

Trial Option for Payment. As of now, you have to set up a separate program for trial or give them a discount code. Please create a delayed payment option for those who are interested in trial options.

I would like my clients to share their completed workout on social media platforms with a link to encourage others to join my online program. Or something where others could join the program too. Please contact for more explanation.

30 days would be great. I would offer 21 to them then would have some grace time to collect CC info or administratively remove them from my account. I can assure you this is costing more in losing clients than it’s making you in the extra one month of dues you get from a trainer with some extra clients.

I think having an option n the payment area for free trial to start payments to begin 1 week after program starts would be a good addition for 7day free trial programs

Free trial for 14 days. Take credit card at the end of the trial. At the end of free trial to provide service options client can choose from for purchase.
-
client doesn't have to enter credit card for Trainerize pay product

I have to leave your program because my clients can’t seem to log in to get started. Another program allows me to put their email in and then make a temporary password. So all they have to do is download the app and login with the credentials I give them, no email that gets lost and not buttons to push where mistakes can happen.

I've collected payment both ways (before the trial and at the end). Seems to work better at the end. Trial is around 10-20 days. When the trial ends, they are sent to a funnel where they can sign up for my month to month online training program. Right now I'm using a chat box to send them to that funnel. But also use trainerize messages to communicate the end of the program coming up soon.

Create a product that allows pricing to be $0 or just have an option to create a FREE products. It would be easy for trainer to offer a free program or challenge by simply sending a product link to potential leads.

This would be great, give online trainers the ability to compete with other platforms that allow the same and for clients to be able to see what they are getting before they go all in. There are Pros and cons to CC however I do think its necessary. Credit card info upfront definitely and inform clients they won't be charged until after trial period. If you don't do credit card information upfront the platform needs to be able to automatically remove/unsubscribe client and remove access because then it becomes cumbersome to keep up. The current subscription I have set up and how the platform is set up I have to cancel subscriptions myself manually when someone wants to end the program. If you don't take credit card info upfront the person can still have access and use the program and you may not catch it until late. For me personally, I manage over 200 clients online and that wouldn't be very productive.

Having the option to "purchase" a free trial period would work well. Having our own options to set the trail length and whether to collect CC info or not would be great. This gives the client an opportunity to have a "buy it now" ability for the free trial, thus get the client's foot in the door without waiting to discuss with a trainer and potentially lose the sale. I tried to implement this in the "services" page of the trainerize profile but it requires a price over $0 to be plugged in.
