Steps! We need to able to see our clients steps
We all understand NEAT and how much this count for energy expenditure! We must be able to see our clients steps from their fitbit/ watch of choice. This would make the app near perfect. This is a massive thing for all fat loss clients especially
Hi all,
Closing this out as in our previous release, Fitbit and Withings devices now sync their steps into Trainerize.
If you are looking to turn on syncing for Apple Health/Watch, you can turn on the beta within the Add-ons > Integrations and scroll down to the bottom section “Beta labs”.
Your vote has been returned to you. Please come back and vote on more ideas at ideas.trainerize.com or add any new suggestions.
Thanks!

With myfitnesspal can’t we just see their steps through there? Seems logical right?

What about for android users who don’t have withings or Fitbit

It would be nice for this to be a TARGET option under Cardio Activity/Walking. Distance, time, etc. are an option, but STEP count would be excellent, even better if it synced to mark as completed if accounted for on someone's Apple Watch or Fitbit

Please make this steps syncing happen! It makes a disjointed and unprofessional client experience to only be able to sync some fitbit data. The lack of steps syncing is definitely on the list of shortcomings of the Trainerize platform.

Absolutely agree. At least integrate Fitbit for step tracking, also sync Apple watch and Garmin would be great. Also in the GOALS section - add a step count goal :)

this would be SO helpful. I currently ask my clients their step average for the week, but you never know if they're being honest about it ;)

The fitbit sync for tracking steps and cardio workouts is needed. The merging of a bunch of topics related to this would show much support.

100% agree - daily steps need to be calculated and seen in the app

Absolutely!! And Apple health data too

This is a must. Most client won't manually transfer their step data for the day and I don't blame them. Being able to automatically sync the steps they did everyday would be amazing! Please get this idea onto the planning phase soon!

This is definitely needed. We'll be able to see clients activity outside of regular training.

I agree. Not just from fitbit/smart watch but also from phone apps. I have pedometer app on my phone. When assigning walking workout, just add a place for steps.
