Thanks for coming to the idea forum and adding your vote to this idea.
We’re keeping this set to ‘Not Right Now’, as this isn’t something we have any immediate plans to implement. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
As Trainerize is a platform where you can scale your training and handle more clients, we believe that having the client contact the trainer each time to substitute an exercise when an equipment is busy at the gym is not very scalable.

This comment back doesn’t make sense? Not being able to do this is a HUGE downfall, especially since this is an online platform tailored to have clients do workouts on their own. If a client is at the gym and something is not available, having a substitution option is a massive bonus to keep this platform. Otherwise they don’t know what to choose instead and trainers aren’t just on their phones waiting for clients to ask them questions in the middle of a workout
