More customizable options for client nutrition and bio-data tracking
For coaches who like more data not less, it would be amazing to have valuable information available on a data dashboard. I personally do metabolic testing and I would love to be able to track how the clients metabolism (RMR) has been affected over time. Graphing of ones energy, hunger, cravings, mood, sleep, and water consumption. Most of these could be entered daily by client on an easy 1-10 scale outside of water and sleep which you would just enter oz and hours. Having all of this information shown on graphs and simple entry would give us as coaches a lot of feedback information and allow us to make changes based on up to date information. Finally, it would be so valuable to be able to prescribe diets with daily caloric intake for several weeks ahead of time. Ideally it would allow you to make changes in calories so you could provide a zig zag caloric approach, or even add fasting or time restricted eating days. I would personally love to be able to pre build a few weeks of certain macro's and test how the clients bio scores, let's say low fat looked in comparison to low carb. Seeing what is and isn't working for clients is how to really set them up for success. Not every client wants to lose weight, so having the ability to make assessments based on valuable markers would change the game.

Allow coaches to add and name custom charts on the Client Profile dashboard so we can track metrics beyond the defaults. The current charts are fixed. We can see RHR, weight, body fat, lean mass, calories, steps, etc. but we cannot add key metrics tied to our programming. This forces workarounds in notes or external spreadsheets, which fragments data and slows reviews.
Proposed Solution:
1. Enable "Add chart" on the client profile,
2. Coach selects a metric type: number, time or percentage
3. Coach names the metric (peak HR, HRR 60s), picks units, and chooses data source: manual entry
4. Chart displays trend line with date filters and simple statsCriteria:
1. Coaches can create up to 5 custom charts per client
2. Units support bpm, seconds, mins, kg, lbs, percent
3. Manual entryThis small feature would eliminate spreadsheets, improve testing workflows, and make trainerize the single source for client progress.

What’s up team,
I’m a coach who lives in Trainerize daily for the last 6 years, and there’s one feature that would dramatically improve how we use the platform: weekly averages and a true weekly dashboard for client compliance.
Right now, the data is there (macros, weight, workouts logged), but it’s very “day-by-day” and noisy. Coaching decisions are made on trends, not single days. I’d love to see:
1. Weekly Averages View (Client Level)
For each client, a Weekly Summary section that shows:
• Average calories for the week
• Average protein, carbs, and fats for the week
• Average body weight for the week
• Optional: average steps, if tracked
Even better if this is:
• Visible as a simple row per week (Week of Nov 24–30, etc.)
• Available as a 7-day rolling average toggle on chartsThis helps cut through daily fluctuation and gives coaches and clients a realistic picture of progress and adherence.
2. Weekly Compliance Dashboard / “Snapshot” Page
A dedicated Weekly Dashboard tab for each client that shows at a glance:
• Workout compliance: sessions completed vs assigned (% for the week)
• Nutrition compliance: days logged, and whether they were within a set calorie/protein range
• Check-in status: completed / missed for that week
• Key averages: weekly average weight + macros right on the same pageThink of it as a scorecard for the last 7 days that a coach can pull up on a call or in a loom video instead of clicking around multiple screens.
Why this matters
• Clients don’t hit targets perfectly every day, but weekly averages tell us if they’re actually on track.
• Scale weight is noisy day-to-day; weekly averages prevent overreacting to normal fluctuations.
• A weekly dashboard would make it much easier to:
• Spot who is struggling early
• Celebrate real wins (not just “perfect days”)
• Run more efficient check-ins without exporting or building our own external dashboardsThis kind of weekly roll-up is what most serious online coaches are already building manually in Sheets or Airtable. Having it native inside Trainerize would keep everything in one ecosystem and make the platform even more of a no-brainer for growing coaching businesses.
Thanks for considering this, it would be a huge quality-of-life upgrade for coaches and clients.
Much love,

This includes a multitude of things, one of the two most important being custom weekly check-ins as well as to set specific macros for clients (not just the general caloric intake then selecting the percentage for each macro). I want to set them down to the gram.
I would also like to set client reminders for the check-ins. Since I moved from Seismic, majority of clients are missing their weekly check-ins. Seismic made this so easy for myself and the client to stay on top of check-ins while also allowing the client to give me more/better feedback to better help them. Since I moved away from Seismic, my nutrition coaching has declined, and I hate that.
There are many other things that would make this app more nutrition friendly. I flittered around to many apps because none have all the things I want. Trainerize had more of what I want compared to others. If it was more nutrition coaching friendly, I would do a custom branded app.

Currently the app does not read/write data for weight/body fat/measurements/ etc. I have a scale that does all these and writes the data to the health app and I would love for the trainerize app to read that data.
