Allow a video loop to keep playing while the timer keeps running
Allow video playing while the timer keeps running.
For Interval training is a big handicap to stop the timer to see the video...specially fot HIT workouts that need short bursts and flow.
Is reaaly a big issue, many clients left the app due to this problem!
Please check this option ASAP ! Thanks in advance
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’re marking this idea as completed!
The new interval timer with looping videos is slowly rolling out but you can manually turn it on via your settings > Advanced > Enable New Interval Workouts. Currently the looping videos are only for Trainerize videos only.

It would be useful to be able to watch the featured exercise in real time as the countdown timer plays when using the interval feature.

My clients have commented that they dont like having to go back click on the videos as it interrupts the workout, especially on circuit training. Would be great if the played seamlessly from start to end.

count down timer is yellow/gold on white...should be bright red or bold black...and a bit larger to see across the room

In app timer should loop the current exercise until the 30 seconds internal then transition to the next exercise. This will give client and illusion that they are training with the trainer; almost like a a group class

I can not believe more people are not voting for this. This is huge for the app. Any other mobile fitness app has this already and so many of my clients say it’s the one set back. When people we sweating and are looking for good flow in their routine the last thing they want to do is pause and touch their phone.

Athletes should be able to stop an interval workout, and switch exercises without having to start over at the top of the interval. If an athlete has to pause their session and leave their app for any reason, currently, they can't come back and start where they left off during an interval workout.

I recently started making workouts exclusively using that timer to ensure a workout would be a certain time. However, it seems a bit aggravating in actually usage. As a timer, it doesn't seem to act like other timing apps you might have, ones that prevent your screen from timing out. Yes, you can "lock it" so the screen can't black out as the app offers, but why is that an option? Why would you want your screen to be able to auto-turn off because that causes the workout to pause. Which leads to the next issue...
The app pauses for every reason. If the app isn't front and center, it's going to stop. Want to send a quick text while you have a 30 second break? Too bad, the app is going to pause. Maybe check facebook real quick? Nope, can't do that either. How about change a song? Wrong. Wouldn't it be nice to put in your weights/reps while you have a moment? Well...it would pause I'm sure, but that leads to the next problem...
You should be able to input your weights/reps while the workout proceeds, not just after the workout is done. As it stands, people would have to write down what they did and input it afterwords. Isn't avoiding writing down this information part of why people use apps like this? Less paper usage and all that? Don't cause annoyance when it isn't needed.
So to summarize
1: Remove the screen black out. Make the app override that feature on peoples phones by default, like any other timer based app does.
2: Remove the auto-pause. The app can already be manually paused and that should be left up to the client.
3: Allow for people to input weights/reps while the workout is going and open. -

I think this is a great idea and have received lots of feedback from clients on this as well. Most fitness apps have the video automatically playing and I think it would be amazing if the video played at the top as soon as it switches over. Pausing to review workouts really messes up the flow of the circuit program and beginner clients seem to be frustrated and request that circuits be deleted from their program.

Virtuagym has this. The animation of the exercise plays as the exercise is running.
Ideally need to have the function of a video being played whilst the client copy’s movement

My clients using the built in HIIT timer love the app but are constantly pausing the workout then playing the video then when they resume the workout they lost around 5 seconds of that exercise there needs to be a 5-10 second period where the client can view the next exercise and prepare for it.

YES! This is so important, and it would mean the client doesn't need to waste time pausing the workout to watch the video first!

Demonstration videos of exercises play at the same time the timer is running in interval workouts

Ability to create and attach an exercise GIF to each exercise video that would loop when a client is using the timer app for an interval workout. That way they could workout while following the the GIF’s visual demonstration instead of just seeing the first frame of the exercise video with a play button on it.
