Show weekly/monthly calories / macro averages in nutrition graph
I would love to be able to adjust the nutrition graph overview by date range and view overall averages of each metric (macros/calories). This would be super helpful to have a clearer picture of whether our clients are tracking and hitting their goals effectively through each week.
For example, if I want to see a client's nutrition data for 1 week, I should be able to set date ranges (i.e. 5/10/2020 - 5/16/2020) and see their daily numbers but also see the averages as well.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’ve added this to our work queue. We’ll post further updates here as our teams pick it up to work on it.
Please come back to ideas.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.
Thanks!

Can we add a 7,14,21 day average to nutrition info - it’s great to see daily info but would be fantastic to look at averages

I am computing the 7D averages for calories (and steps) for 60+ clients manually myself every **** week. This has been in the "work queue" for almost a year! Can we please get an update on when this is coming??

MyFitnessPal offers a feature that allows the user to set the dates in which they want to view their average macronutrient intake. This is super helpful to observe compliance, and would be helpful in addition to the bar graphs provided in Trainerize.

I also would love to see averages across calories and macro for the week ending. An excellent ad value when sending clients their weekly summaries.

Totally agree being able to see weekly monthly calories breakdown will be great. Even better if the clients could see their total calories over a week too. So if they are doing a net value each week they can see from a quick over if they are on tack or not.

Clients having access to the macro calculator so they can change it daily as their weight changes/weekly. This way we can teach them how to be self-sufficient so they can learn as they go along that it will change as there body changes. Also will get them in the app more and using it. Also/ or having a option when a client adds there new body weight it changes there macros automatically over a period of time. Also so they can select/ change which phase they are in. Looking to build muscle, maintain, loss weight (on this phase have a set maximum amount time they can be here). This would be great in group environments or if you’re selling memberships or one-off programs with automations. Of course wouldn’t necessary need to use it for your high-end clients because your more then likely being doing the adjustments yourself but the ability for them doing it to would be a great experience and get them setting their own goals. This would be amazing for anyone running automotion is all group challenges. Also to add a weekly macro breakdown , it be great to have a place where the client can see the calorie and protein target over a seven day, month ect period. This is great for those that are tracking calories as a net value over the week they could see in one place immediately if they’re over and under and how much and where they need to make up at for it at the end of the week. I seen this showcased in somebody else’s app and there’s clients bang on about it on how simple it is.

It's great seeing the graphs with daily macros but it would be great to see a weekly or two weekly AVERAGE to see if the client is staying within calories overall as it's normal to go over for most people. It would make it clearer when explaining to clients also.
Sometimes they could still be on target but it's hard to tell for sure unless you calculate it. Ends up a lot of work if people have a lot of clients.

When myfitnesspal syncs with trainerize and you can click to see the graph for the weekly calories and it gives you an average but only has the line going through, it doesn't say the number, making it a bit hard to guess sometimes. This numeric piece of data is really important with decisions around changing the calories so would be great to have as a little addition.

Yes- this one is huge for me and I need it big time. I don't want to have to use google sheets, but I can quickly average a client's weekly calorie intake or burn in google sheets and that helps me make adjustments. The current version only let's me eyeball it which doesn't help.

Calories
Protein
Carbs
FatsThere are graphs for them which mean absolutely nothing. Show them in a number format and have a calculator for a weekly average on each. Truecoach has it and it is the best feature possible from a coach`s standpoint. I have 30 clients that I have now to add the calories from each day, subtract by how many days to get the average. Do that for each client, I`m looking at 120 calculations which are easy but time consuming. ...

Would also be great if we can change targets based on days as well.

I like to calculate my clients averages over the week, it'd be good if there was a function that did this, maybe in the 'progress' section where the graphs are etc? I like to look at:
- average steps
- average calorie intake
- average protein/fat/carbs intake
- average bodyweight (for clients who weigh multiple times per week)
