Exercise Notes
Recommend a notes section for any exercise when building a workout. This allows the trainer to add modifications, options, and safety tips that the client can use inter-workout.

In addition it would be great to see sets stacked so that you can see what happened with each rep in a row as opposed to scrolling down to see each set in a superset. The app Strong does a good job of this and you can easily lock the comment to the exercise and update it as needed.

Truecoach and Everfit both have the ability for each specific exercise to have comments made by the trainer (for extra instructions) and comments made by the client when doing it.

Please do this! It would make it so much easier to communicate with clients and make the workout feel more personalized for them. TrueCoach has this option and I still keep my subscription with them as well for only this reason. Some clients need a little more direction, reminders and cues at the specific exercise. Its also a great place for them to ask questions or comment on the actual exercise.

Yes, please! Sometimes my clients modify the exercise, feel pain during a bench press, have comments on intensity level specific to the exercise, etc.

This would be amazing to be able to coach clients through dropsets or tempo work

Allow clients to add comment tags to specific exercises like "try heavier next time" or "record video for form check next time" etc...

room to put notes on each exercise rather than one comment for the whole session. These exercise notes could also show up when you referenced previous sessions. This could be very useful to clients because they could make note of useful mindset/cues on form, what may have happened on a particular set, bodily feedback, and other variables like exercise order that would affect progressive calculation.

I think this would be helpful as I'm charting my notes about the exercise they're currently doing.
My clients also feel the same way, they would like the ability to add notes to the exercise after they're done, instead of scrolling all the way to the top to do it or waiting until after the workout to leave a comment. -

I would like to add notes/ modifications beside individual exercises as I'm personal training.

Add notes under the exercise. (Eg, if you want them to change the tempo, or to add isoholds for the exercise, or rest pause etc)

I think a lot of trainers want an ability to put comments/notes on each exercise embedded into integral, like a separate column. I know putting it in the target column is a workaround, but it's not intuitive.

Have another text box to enter notes for individual exercises within a workout. Would be a great tool for trainers to take notes.

I want to be able to make notes for individual exercises during the workout, while entering stats

Would be nice to have a spot to put notes with the exercises and reps.

I wish I could add a note to a created exercise in the master exercise library. For example: "squat with slightly narrower stance to support hip injury", etc

Now, it's possible for clients to make notes for the whole workout, but not for each excercise. Would be great to do that (Example: "Reduced weight bench press due to DOMS" --> barbell bench press. "New record, yes!" --> Barbell Squat)

Under each exercise a section to make notes. For more advanced clients there is no way to keep track of things like drop sets.

This would be good for English speakers too. The Train Heroic app allows comments for every exercise and I found it really helpful to be able to give specific pointers per exercise. For example “pay close attention to your knees on this one” or “this one is new for you so use light weight, go slow, and focus on form.”
