Integrating running plans into the Trainerize app significantly enhances the coaching experience, allowing for more personalized and effective training programs. This feature lets coaches create customized running schedules that include detailed pace calculations, warm-ups, and cool-downs, tailored to each athlete’s goals and performance level.
For example, a training session might include:
- **Warm-up:** 1 km easy jog (Pace: 6:30 min/km)
- **Main Set:** 4 x 1 km at race pace (Pace: 4:30 min/km) with 2-minute recovery jogs (Pace: 6:00 min/km)
- **Cool Down:** 1 km easy jog (Pace: 6:30 min/km)This integration allows real-time adjustments based on performance data, ensuring athletes are always training at their optimal level. It also expands the coach’s offerings, providing a more comprehensive fitness solution that can attract a broader range of clients.

I've mentioned this before about the built in timer. A few years ago the timer option wasn;t limited as is now - I definitely reccommend finding ways to bring this back
Or else Im going to another. Ive been using trainerize for 4 years and it should be up to date with this feature not go backward
As i mentioned in the forum - nothing has changed

Currently
There is only the option to add regular, circuit or interval based workouts.
However, if I want to program in some running it is not possible to do so.
It would be great to add in time or distance (or both)Even just a basic feature such as being able to add a workout as just text.
Then I could call the workout run and just write notes about what the workout is, I.E. 30 minute easy run at a low heart rate, or 5km moderate run.A more advanced option would be a specific way to program runs such as: 1km warm up, 4x400m effort with 200m slow recovery, 1km cool down.
Currently programming any type of running for clients is just not possible
