Make the Macro split 100% customisable
Ability to customise macro split to individual needs. i.e. 45% protein, 20% carbs, 35% fat.
Also have the ability to customise meals, i.e. I get my clients to avoid carbs for breakfast if they train in the evenings or increase carbs post workout rather than having a even split of carbs throughout all meals

We as coaches are limited to certain targets when setting macro splits. I want to be able to set whatever calorie amount I wish and what ever protein goal I wish eg if I want to set 1850 calories then allow me to do so. Its Currently only 1800 or 1900. If I want to set 200g protein then allow me to be able to. Protein goals are currently only available as a percentage of the calories. If i dont use the smart meal plan then i can but if i switch to the smart meal plan which im paying for then i cant. it really shouldnt be difficult for the AI to build a meal plan around whatever targets i set as a coach. Many thanks

It needs to make macro split 100% customizable. It doesn't make sense for it to choose for us and only give a few options. We also need to be able to decide how many meals our clients want. When we lower the caloric number it only allows options of 3 meals or 4 meals a day. That is not what all clients want or need.

The ability to completely customize my clients macro targets, both in grams or percentages would be far more effective than the few preset options currently available. Its hard to justify to the client that they need to pay us for a service then tell them that they need to pay for myfitnesspal as well. This feature is especially effective for clients with specific goals, and being able to offer everything in one app would far more effective and convenient for both trainer and client

the food add on is very limited. I can't believe they charge $45 for such a limited add on. It needs to be more user friendly and customisable for sure then I would stay subscribed

Allow calories to be set lower than 1400 for certain clients; ability to make completely customize the macro split

Allowing coaches to totally customize a meal plan and structure for clients is critical. When assessing a client, the smart meal tracker does not account for their specific needs and it's too much. If we can access foods that we can totally create a meal plan and keep the structure simple as well as incorporating refeeds and something as simple as; example, ground turkey 93/7 100 grams, jasmine rice 40 grams(raw weight), and zucchini 100 grams this would be most optimal and they wouldn't be guessing if its right or not because it's right there in the app where they can see it daily. Even with high/low days being able to create a few meal plans that would auto generate based on if they are training or resting that day. This is crucial, and i'm sick of going back and forth between apps having to create this. If other apps can have this implemented and this app costs MORE....why can it not be created?! Also why aren't progress photos able to generate a side by side from the desk top. The only way you can actually pull up a progress photo side by side is from the app on the phone. MAKE IT EASIER and better for us to be able to help others. Please and thank you!

The smart meal planner is worthless without custom macros.
Clients generated meals should be based off your custom macros and should include sugars and fiber as to much sugar or to little fiber is going to mess up the diet as well.
The generated meal plans should be based of macros for that meal not just a total as certain meals need certain macros for their total macros:
I.E. Higher carbs pre/post meal, No carbs morning or night, etc... -

I have small-petite size clients. 1400 calories are their TDEE.

Trainerize need's to trust the trainers and nutritionist to know what's best for their clients and the nutrition plan that they choose to put them on.

We definitely need flexibility when dialing in athletes, there is a time and lace to pull that trigger, with absolute individualization, down to micronutrient level. Otherwise I still have to pay extra for Nutritics and the like to peak athletes.
This can be used badly, yes for sure, but many a coach is highly educated in nutrition, as much as they are in physiology and basic psychology, Even if this level of flexibility requires the more advanced coaches to qualify for such depth. Not all coaches or trainers need this, but anyone who preps, especially our pro athlete's, need the flexibility. It doesn't pay well, (to us), however we still invest n our education for specific niches. an all in one app, would be nice. we now dealing with a massive wave of new medications, that unless attended to effectively, is going to wipe us coaches out, till we can prove that most side effects can be mitigated. Right now, a lot are in the honeymoon phase, malnourished and at the doorstep of metabolic syndrome, seduced by weight loss only rivaled by surgery, soon to surpass it. So both sides of this coin is needed.

This is VERY important! Even if custom % makes the custom meal function not applicable.

We currently have 4 clients with the need to be below the 1400 calorie limit set in Trainerize to be in a calorie deficit. This has completely made the app inadequate for us and to start exploring competitors. Frustrating considering we have multiple apps with the ABC Fitness org.

This feature is critical to coaches helping clients fine tune their nutrition during a diet and reverse diet phase. With such strict calorie (1600, 1700- no inbetween) and macro goal percentages for the meals, the meal planner becomes increasingly hard to use.

You just need to make more flexibility in the app with the autogenerated meals. Great that you made 7 days and so many dietary patterns. But default "balanced" to 30% protein is absolutely ridiculous. There should be an option to customize the macros. Similarly you can't plan anything under 1400 calories. Why? So weird. Also you need to triple check your math on many recipes. They don't all add up.
