Custom App Splash Screen
It’s been over five years since this issue was first raised, and we’re still sitting here with no meaningful response.
Every custom app owner has spent a considerable amount of time and effort crafting what they want on their splash screen. Yet it remains visible for barely half a second when we or our clients log in. That completely defeats the purpose. It’s a basic expectation of having a branded app that we’ve paid good money for.
On top of that, even after naming our app, it still downloads as “Fitness App”. That’s not exactly the best way to show appreciation for our business or our loyalty.
I’ve built apps myself and overseen development teams for client projects. If any of my developers told me that something so central to brand identity was “not a priority”, they’d be out the door immediately.
Saying our brand identity isn’t a priority is essentially saying, “thanks for the money, now p*ss off.”
Fix it.
