Rolling Macros and Fat/Carb slider
Would be nice if we could have rolling macros. This was one of the key things that helped me and a lot of my clients succussed with counting macros through a different tracking app we currently use. What it does is assigns them their daily macros and if they go over/under on fat/carbs it auto adjust the rest of the week (7 day check-in periods) to account for it and as long as they hit their total by their check-in day they still usually hit their weight loss/gain goal for the week but it gives them a little more freedom…

Automate so system adjusts macro goal depending on if client over or under ate
When clients over eat or under eat, automate the whole process so the system changes the nutrition goal so the trainer is hands off and just needs to focus on motivation.

Allow In-App Meal Tracker To Scan PDF Barcode to Import Nutrition Details
I currently have my recipes on PDF with a MFP barcode at the bottom left corner of the recipe that can be scanned by the client to import all nutritional info into the tracker. I’m in the process of migrating all my clients over to Trainerize Studio and I’d love to be able to do away with MFP and keep the clients within the environment of our platform.

Ability to specific number of portions of a client's saved meals
The client is building their own recipe. So for example, if you made a soup at home and ate on it all week. You would create a custom recipe and add all the ingredients and the amounts. Then lets say that recipe made 1 gallon of soup, but you only eat 2 cups of it throughout the week. They would be able to log the portion they had and the total calories for the 2 cups. Hopes this makes sense.

Ability for admin to hide MFP as an option in client's settings
Business wants to move fully to in-app tracker and not even show the option of MFP tracking to a client. Admin should be able to turn on and off ability for client to see that option for food tracking.

Automatically skip the meal photo request when tracking full calories/macros
Let's be honest, clients who are taking meal photos likely aren't going to be tracking their cals/macros, and clients who are tracking their cals/macros likely aren't going to be taking photos of their meals.
So for those of us who's clients are strictly tracking cals/macros, the current workflow of having to "skip" the meal photo option before being able to add a meal/item to their diary seems like an unnecessary, cumbersome step.
I think having Meal Photos and Meal Tracker separate would be most ideal, or perhaps the ability to toggle Meal Photos On/Off while using the Meal Tracker.

When I add new client, by default that client's settings is set to photo tracking only. I would like to be able to have a settings where I can change default, so each new client to have by default in-app full meal tracking.

Additional meals or missed meals tick box
Ability for client to add in a food (or even a meal they missed) and to tick a box (either add to daily total or substract) so that the meal they enter is either subtracted or added to the nutrition goal set. This way if they are following a meal plan where macros are calculated … we can see if the meal they have had is on top of or missed. It might save them entering everything on the meal plan to track daily compliance

Adding a "Streaks" for In-App Meal Tracking
Creating notifications for Streaks for In-App Meal Tracking. Such as "Congrat's you have logged in for 10 days in a row!" Helps to increase accountability, engagement and consistency for clients.

Ability to change targets to progress
The ability to change the displayed number in the little circles on a clients homepage to they're consumed calorie/macro for the day as opposed to their target, so clients can easily see what they've consumed already. Actually, a fraction of xx/*** calories/macros might be better, instead of just the consumed number. Options would be nice. 🙂

Ability to help client enter foods as a trainer
Ability to help client enter food details from meal photo. In trainers app you could look at client's photo and add the food items to find out macros. That way if you are managing a client on your own you could even help track as a starter.

Ability to comment on every meal instead of entire day entry
Allow user to comment per meal added and not for entire day only. In this way trainer and client can discuss particular meal rather then comments getting lost in a thread of comment of entire day.

Faster way to view client food logs like a weekly meals view
Trying to view each nutrition log takes forever. Right now you have to open up a persons profile individually, then click calendar, and then you can see.
It would help if there was a way to either have the system automatically send a quick link or snap shot daily in the private message or when you click on private message they should put a Botton at the top where the archive is that allows you to view the food log quickly then go back.
I try to look at clients food logs daily and its very time consuming clicking all…

Allow for the tracking of "net carbs"
Allow specifically the tracking of carbohydrates that count toward energy and significantly impact blood sugar levels (i.e. Total Carbs - Fibers - Sugar Alcohols)

Set Protein Targets as grams per lb/kg bodyweight
Ideally this would be beneficial to maintain a constant protein intake for the client based off of their bodyweight as it changes rather than a target which adjusts as their calories change
