We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. ability to toggle between recurring and one time purchase

    it would be nice to be able to toggle between "recurring" and "one time charge" based on client needs. other wise you have to create 2 of every product.

  4. Notification of client changes

    I'd like to be notified when clients make changes to their schedules/workouts/habits. Specifically, if a client schedules a new workout or rescheduled one.

  5. My fitness pal activity diary

    Why doesn't the activity portion of the my fitness pal diary integrate with trainerize? I use a Garmin for step count, and activities such as walking and running which syncs with my fitness pal. This info should carry over into trainerize.

  7. Allow recurring bookings without an end date

    Currently, bookings can be recurring for up to 4 weeks when using the app and 52 weeks when using the desktop. This should have the ability to be recurring with no end date.

  8. Increase length of goals you can type in.

    The word count is really small for goals and it’s hard to make it SMART. They end up being very general goals that are specific.

  9. The ability to add more characters to each goal - why are we limited?

  11. Ability to write 2 or 3 letters next to the rep number.

    When showing that a person has achieved maximum effort, which means 1 more rep couldn't be completed with perfect form, on a set if the rep range is 10-15 reps. Having the ability to label the reps as 15M or 15MAX; the uppercase 'M' meaning maximum effort.

  13. centralized messaging - remove comments and just use messages

    Currently my client messages me from several different areas in the platform. All messaging should be centralized or at the least sync into one messaging center. Is there a way to centralize all messages. For example, anytime my client completes a workout for the day, the message I send to congratulate her is only visible in the notification for the workout she completed. It does not sync to Primary Messaging. Is there a way to get it to sync so I am not going in so many areas to find messages sent?

  14. Send exercises in chat

    Often clients will message me and ask me "what would be a good replacement for ____" or ask me about form and I've uploaded coaching videos as exercises. It would be nice to look up the exercise library in the chat message so I could send them directly. I can't even go into their training plan and assign it to them because they are subscribed to a master program. So I would have to go to my YouTube channel and send them the link.

  15. 75 sec for interval timer

    I often like programming with 75sec rest, it seems like a natural progression of all the numbers here. Can we have this included or elect exact numbers on a time wheel?

  16. Allow trainers to log into the app and track their own workouts.

    PLEASE make the app recognize that we as trainers, actually use the app for our own workouts as well. There is no reason we should have to use a different email account for our training and workouts than we use to log in to access our clients. It allows me to track my own workouts as the trainer, but it doesn’t recognize that I have “logged in” at all. Therefore, when you make new changes we all wanted, like the Apple Watch syncing, it doesn’t show up for us unless we log out completely, log in to our never used…

    As Trainerize is really built from day 1 for a client signing in to interact with their trainers and track their fitness.

    However, you can use the Peak Fitness labs app and sign in as a client. This is the app we use to train our team internally but you can sign in with your credentials.

  17. Have a traffic light system clients data in on form

    It would be great to have a table with all clients on where you could see everything from a client performance...eg. Name, sleep, sessions completed, steps, average weekly pro & cals, target compliance etc

    Would make it so much quicker to fix a problem for a client, Improve their results & make doing client check ins quicker

    I would be able to take on even more clients on trainerize then

  19. Telephone Number

    Have Client Telephone number pop up for Zapier data integration... When updating integrations with heymarket and texting services (adding clients to list after a tag is removed etc) there is no option to use their telephone number.
