Voice messages!
It’s a bit hard to get your excitement or instructions across when sending written messages so I think voice messaging would be a great addition. I’ve had clients reach out to me this way on IG and the response is much more fluid.

You and your client MUST be on app version v.7.114.0 in order for the voice message function to work on mobile. It will not work otherwise. Certain Custom branded apps are still rolling out, but you should be getting it shortly if you haven’t so far.
Few important things you should know about voice messages feature:
- Voice messages are available in DMs, and Groups, and both on Web and Mobile.
- You have 2 ways of sending voice message:
-Tap, Hold to Record and Release to send
-Tap, Hold, Swipe up to lock for hands free, Record hands free and Tap to send
- Length of voice message is up to 5min long.
- You have ability to speed up the voice message to up to 2x.
- Voice messages in groups are off by default for clients, but you can turn it on in the settings.
- Just like any other message you can delete voice message.

Please note below items we are aware of an working on. We don’t have precise ETA yet for it:
- User can’t start new thread with a voice message - currently in development and we will be releasing this fix soon
- Trainer can’t turn off voice messages for clients in DMs - on the roadmap no ETA at the moment but you can vote for this idea here as we will be regularly checking demand for this which will help us prioritize this feature.

I agree this would be a fantastic feature but I feel it’s integral that coaches have the option to turn on or off the clients ability to respond via voice note. Whilst I love sending voice notes to clients, I find receiving them very time consuming, as with written text you can quickly scan the message to get to the point, whereas with a voice note you have to listen to it for the full duration which is sometimes 5 mins+. When you have multiple clients doing this it’s not time efficient at all.

Yes please to this! This is the ONE big thing i think is missing - clients end up voice noting me through other platforms and it gets messy

Give clients and trainers the ability to leave voice notes in messages. This would fast track a lot of client feedback and make it easier to chat on the go

Hi. Can you provide an update as to why this isn't done yet? Why does is this taking almost three years? Everyone is sending voice notes or dictating voice/text even in DMs more than typing out messages. Today, my clients are also unable to upload videos for me to see. This is a huge gap in being able to effectively communicate with clients. Thank you for making this happen, like, yesterday.

My clients keep asking me when the option to voice message is going to be coming to Trainerize, and I have to keep telling them "soon". Please please please add this option in asap! It's so hard to get your point across in the way you want with a client when having to send it via text.
I love everything about Trainerize but theres just that one thing missing, and voice message will be the final piece to the jigsaw!

I understand a tremendous amount of talent and time resources are being utilized within the meals and nutrition features.
But this is top, the very top, of my features list.
Thanks for all the hard work. Very excited to be able to start using Voice Messages.

CAN WE PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!! Its an incredibly easy add on and I dont understand why this isnt being added. Its clear that every single coach not his app wants it, so why are you not making it happen.

Same feature as WhatsApp. Messages take too long too convey certain concepts.
Having to use other apps to send voice notes to clients. Would be useful to keep it all in TrainerizeThanks

Voice messages is an absolute MUST and game changer for coaches. Would LOVE this along with better emojis to send clients.. like a heart for example vs a thumbs up. It's more heart centered.

The voice note feature would be perfect! Sometimes i have to send voice notes to explain a concept to client either via instagram or iMessage . I would love to keep all interactions with clients on Trainerize

Much like other messenger app, Instagram, Facebook, and even text.. allow for voice communication. It's not usually convenient to type out messages to my coach. Voice messaging is easier and more efficient.
