Voice messages!
It’s a bit hard to get your excitement or instructions across when sending written messages so I think voice messaging would be a great addition. I’ve had clients reach out to me this way on IG and the response is much more fluid.

You and your client MUST be on app version v.7.114.0 in order for the voice message function to work on mobile. It will not work otherwise. Certain Custom branded apps are still rolling out, but you should be getting it shortly if you haven’t so far.
Few important things you should know about voice messages feature:
- Voice messages are available in DMs, and Groups, and both on Web and Mobile.
- You have 2 ways of sending voice message:
-Tap, Hold to Record and Release to send
-Tap, Hold, Swipe up to lock for hands free, Record hands free and Tap to send
- Length of voice message is up to 5min long.
- You have ability to speed up the voice message to up to 2x.
- Voice messages in groups are off by default for clients, but you can turn it on in the settings.
- Just like any other message you can delete voice message.

Please note below items we are aware of an working on. We don’t have precise ETA yet for it:
- User can’t start new thread with a voice message - currently in development and we will be releasing this fix soon
- Trainer can’t turn off voice messages for clients in DMs - on the roadmap no ETA at the moment but you can vote for this idea here as we will be regularly checking demand for this which will help us prioritize this feature.

Agreed !! This would create such better interaction and easier to check in with my clients when having to be more in detail !! Saves them time too if they don't wish to type all the time.

This would be HUGE. Honestly, I cant think of a more important update. One of the main things Im looking to create with my coaching is a group feel. And having the ability for me and y clients to communicate via voice messages in our groups would make a MASSIVE impact on culture and retention. Please PLEASE start working on this soon :)

yes , i agree would be great if we could use one app for all the communication instead of using VOXER as a complimentary one to get the message across faster

Voice memos are a great way to add a personal touch without sending a video message.
Sometimes it hard to do 1 minute videos and constantly stop and start.
Plus if we're on the go, voice messages are much easier personal touch.
The ability to send a voice memo and for a minimum 5 minutes length will change the game truly. (but 1 minute in length I personally would be happy with, its better than none!)
Having this option for clients and coaches, will help explain things so much more clearly - plus some clients don't feel comfortable on video - so this helps greatly.

Need this big time! Would love to be able to send a mass voice message to an entire group. Currently I using an audio file uploaded into sound cloud. But that is fairly annoying.

This is so needed!! The only thing that’s got me hanging onto using WhatsApp to contact clients, it’s so much more personal to send a voice note than a typed message!

This is a definite must! If we could have the ability where our clients could hear our voices in our messages it would help us to connect with them at a much higher rate. This would also save us a lot of time in our day-to-day communication with our clients.

This is SO needed. I have to reach out via cell phone for this right now and I hate moving off the platform. Tone of voice is so helpful especially with clients who are non compliant

It would be extremely useful to be able send a voicenote from the chat.
Also, the possibility to record and send video from the char rather than recording the video outside the app then upload -

Yes!! I use WhatsApp and IG voice msg and ppl love that! So much more personal and excitement and energy are key with training and motivation so voice msging would be next level for Trainerize!

Any update on this?? Ive got 230+ clients and being able to SPEAK to them all rather than type would be so amazing, I couldnt even explain.

Adding the option to answer clients true voice messaging will make it more personal and also easier for a trainer to respond to clients.
All and all I feel it would ad to the client experience if they have more of conversation with the coach

This is literally the only reason I use WhatsApp over Trainerize for messaging!!! The personal touch of a voice message is AWESOME plus it saves sooo much time for trainers who have lots of clients!
