Coach / Trainer - ABC Trainerize

We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified.

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

Thanks!

  1. Key Features to Look for in a Walking Treadmill with Incline

A walking treadmill with an incline is an excellent choice for those looking to intensify their walking workouts, target different muscle groups, and improve cardiovascular health. The incline feature simulates uphill walking, which increases the intensity of your workout without needing to run or jog.

Benefits of a Treadmill with Incline

Increased Calorie Burn: Walking on an incline engages more muscles, leading to higher calorie expenditure compared to walking on a flat surface.
Muscle Toning: An incline targets the calves, glutes, hamstrings, and quads, helping tone and strengthen the lower body.
Cardiovascular Improvements: Uphill walking can improve heart health, as…

  2. Add a warm up set within the same exercise

Would be great to have the ability to add a warm up set within the same exercise. For example: You slide over Barbell bench press and with that same video you can adjust for work sets and warm ups. Currently I have to either manually type in warm up or add a second video

  4. Les Mills on Demand Package - Include 'Born to Move' programs for kids please

Does the newly promoted Les Mills Programs sign up include the 'Born to Move' kids workouts that Les mills provides?

Be great to offer programs such as 'The Avengers Workouts' to our club members children that they could do with their parent in club or at home to start role modelling fitness for life!

  6. Allow other Trainers within the Trainzerize world to SHARE workout/master programs.

I have a handful of fellow trainers who use Trainerize. It would be amazing and a timer saver if we had the ability to add them (not coaches within our system, OTHER Trainers with their own businesses) to our shared programs!

  9. Separate Sections to enter progressions for workouts!

When adjusting the progression, it only has one space to enter the reps, weight tempo, etc. for each workout. It would be helpful to have the ability to select what we want to add to track the workout and that then populating separate sections to enter said chosen tracking method. Limit the amount of progression tracking selections to 3.

I.E. I assign the Bench Press to a client, the client is in prep for a powerlifting competition so one of the assigned bench press workouts is set to be 3-1-1-0 tempo.

Ideally I would like to be able to select:…

  10. Let user add notes and images to an exercise, persistent between workouts.

Right now it looks like it's all geared towards the trainer - but let the user also add notes and images to help me remember and learn from session to session.

  14. Exercise alternatives

I personally feel like this is very important. Everfit currently has this feature and I believe Trainerize could benefit from it. I’ve had many clients who can’t do a specific exercise and would have to travel into the extensive library to find an alternative that is hopefully appropriate for them. If we can have a drop down and add in a regression exercise or a progression exercise for the client would make things easier for the client and the trainer. This feature can also help with automation and sending out programs. Because now the client can change the level of…

  15. A pop-up message letting you know you're about to delete a completed workout!

If you go into a client's calendar and click on a completed workout bubble it deletes it! Not only does it get rid of the workout history with no way to bring it back. It also deletes the points they got for that workout in any challenge they are a part of. Trainerize customer service has no ability to undo any of it or even adjust the client's points in the challenge. At minimum there should be a pop-up that informs you that you're about to delete a client's previously completed workout and ask you if you wish to delete…

  17. Add 'Boxing' as a cardio option. Include a fatigue/motivation tracker

First, add 'Boxing' as a cardio option in workout logs, allowing clients to specify type (pad work, bag work), rounds, and duration, while tracking estimated calories burned and feedback notes. Second, implement a fatigue and motivation tracker, prompting clients to rate both after each session on a 1-5 scale, with visual data charts to spot trends, an optional comment box for insights, and alerts for consistently low motivation or high fatigue.

  18. How to Use a Chin-Up Dip Station

A home gym chin-up dip station is an excellent piece of equipment for targeting your upper body, especially your back, arms, chest, and shoulders. It typically combines both chin-up bars and dip bars into one compact unit, making it a versatile addition to your home gym setup.

Benefits of a Chin-Up Dip Station

Chin-ups: Focus on your biceps, upper back, and forearms.
Pull-ups: Engage your entire upper back, shoulders, and arms.
Dips: Target your triceps, chest, and shoulders.
Core Workouts: You can also incorporate hanging leg raises or knee raises for your abs.

  19. Check off exercises when done with each

I've had a few clients ask for a feature where they can "check off" exercises as they finish them. With this, that set/exercise would collapse and move to the next one - rather than having to search around the page with all open exercises.

  20. Ability to add “sections” to workout customizations

It would be helpful if we could create separate sections in a single workout to include things like:
    A warm up
    AMRAP/Regular Workout
    Cool down

In one full workout. This feature would allow us to write different instructions attached to the different sections. It should also allow us to attach on demand workouts or follow alongs in another section if we would like.
