Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. add in a tempo section and make the “sets/reps” notes more clear

    Make the layout of the workout so that the sets and reps note from the trainer is more obvious. Also add in a separate tempo section.

  2. Clients having the ability to do workouts (watch the intervals play out) and track food from PC web browser

    Clients would love to be able to use a desktop web browser to track food in the app and run their workouts (especially the interval workouts). A large majority of our client base have issues with technology (especially phones) and would have a much easier time tracking their food and doing their workouts through trainerize in a web browser.

  3. Allow coaches to see/edit full workouts on the calendar screen

    When programming for a client seeing the "bigger picture" is very helpful. It can be extremely tedious going back to the programs tab and editing each workout or having to check back with other workouts to ensure there isn't any unnecessary exercise overlap between training sessions. Allowing coaches to program on the calendar screen would be a huge boost to productivity.

  4. Dated Calendar for Program building!!!! PLEASEEEEEE

    Please make a dated calendar version for program building!! this would be so helpful. This would help with adjusting for holidays, roll overs, days that are empty to reschedule or add in notes for accountability. I plan by 2 weeks, month and yearly challenges and programs. its so hard as it is now not to see the full dates to be able to schedual.

  5. Allow a client to leave a rating of perceived exertion (or comment space) for an individual set

    It would be very helpful to be able to leave a rating of perceived exertion (1-10) for each set for the coach and client to look back upon. This data will be very useful. It can be as simple as adding a box next to the reps and weight boxes which can be enabled in settings. Hope you guys consider this as it is an important component of tracking and periodisation!

  6. Ability to add weight/load or intensity (%, RIR, etc.) when programming resistance training

    In the workout builder, adding an additional section for the intensity (weight/load, %RM, RIR, etc.) that is separate from the notes section would be helpful in programming. With the current configuration, the reps, intensity/load, notes, tempos, etc. are all in one "box" rather than those being separate. This would clean things up in the program design process, improve "readability" from clients/users, and could open up other options regarding tracking progress over time with exercises

    When duplicating workouts, make it so you can paste into another profile as it seems I'm unable to do that via the app anyways

  8. Quick exercise substitution

    The workout builder includes an exercise substitution tab. Similar to what is in the workout. This would help with program templates. Instead of having to delete each exercise and add new exercises. You would substitute each exercise within the program. This would be beneficial for progressing a current workout into a new workout.

  9. Be able to add circuits/Finishers that I have pre made to the end of certain workouts without having to do from scratch each time

    I want to add some pre made circuits to the end of workouts, so having a function that you can add a circuit or finisher to a specific workout would be great. Currently I have to make them all from scratch every single time which is time consuming.

  10. Auto-save all workouts so they can still be accessed after deactivating a client

    It's kinda annoying having to reactivate a client just to look at the workouts I made for them while they were active. Can you create an auto save folder for any workouts that are created?

  11. Clients can add their own training

    My business is 100% nutrition only, so I don't program any of my client's training or workouts.

    I would like to be able to see what their training is for the week in more detail than just the calories burnt that comes through MFP.

    I'd love a section where they can even just type some notes about their training for the day.

  14. Transform Your Workouts with Visuals: The Simple Feature That Can Boost Client Results!

    Hi everyone! I've been using Trainerize for a while now and I love how easy it is to create and share workouts with clients. However, I've noticed that the app doesn't currently allow for the customization of workout thumbnails. I think it would be really helpful to be able to upload a picture as a thumbnail for each workout. This would not only make the workouts more visually appealing, but also allow trainers to better showcase their branding and style.

  15. It would be great to be able to add intervals with a superset workout.

    Right now it only lets me combine superset and circuit but it would be great to be able to combine any type of workout. For example, if I want to set up a superset workout but finish it with a short interval workout, right now I don't have that feature.

    This could be done as a way to add variation and allow for rehab/prehab or other exercises to be used within the program.

    Example - 4 sets of 5 reps back squats supersetted with 3 sets of 30 second plank holds, etc.

  18. Change the regular workout functionality to have auto rest timers

    The regular workout setup requires the user to start and stop the rest timer. If we can emulate the Strong app and how it allows for the user to fill in the weight and reps and then auto-populate and do an auto rest timer it would be easier to use in the app and more visually clean whereas now the rest timer is in between each set.
