Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Client wants to build their own program to track and be able to see progress

    We have multiple nutrition clients who want to build their own workout program that can track their progress. We would like them to continue to stay soley using our app vs trying to find another one that they can track their program on.

  2. Let customers create their own program / workouts

    Can you guys make it possible for my clients to create their own workouts in a one-time setup? The problem I encounter now is that if you create a workout, the workout is not saved and you need to create it again. This is really exhausting to do every week. Therefore, I would like to have the option to create, let's say, 4 workouts (upper, lower, upper, lower), and this must be saved in my program. I would really love to see this.

  3. A field to enter starting weight for next workout

    It would be helpful to be able to fill in the starting weight for the next workout i.e. if you finish your sets for an exercise and you feel you're ready to move up in weight then you can click on a link that says "Starting Weight for Next Workout" and enter the weight. The weight could be automatically filled out on the first set the next time you start a workout. The link could be located next to where the "Add New Set" link is. Would be helpful for people with a bad memory like me.

  4. Allow Trainers to have a custom dropdown menu for their program templates

    Have a customizable dropdown menu for the programs we made instead of a rather complicated menu. For example, instead of clicking on each program, I could could have multiple tabs like "muscle mass", "weight loss", ... , then when I click on one tab, another few options appear and I can click on one of them, lets say, "weight loss programs - body weight" then another few options and I could click on "weight loss - bodyweight - 3 times per week" for example...

  5. Exercise alternatives

    I personally feel like this is very important. Everfit currently has this feature and I believe Trainerize could benefit from it. I’ve had many clients who can’t do a specific exercise and would have to travel into the extensive library to find an alternative that is hopefully appropriate for them. If we can have a drop down and add in a regression exercise or a progression exercise for the client would make things easier for the client and the trainer.   6. Strength Training Programming

    Can there be an option where the client does not have to input the weight they used for strength training. It makes it super time consuming for them and they become inpatient with it. Most of the time I give them the weights they are to use unless otherwise specified.

  8. Add clarification in the UI that program descriptions are only viewed by trainers.

    Descriptions of phased and on-demand programs are viewed by trainers only. it does not say anywhere else that clients cannot view the text the same way they can see training phase descriptions.

  9. Be able to see and enter stats for multiple client workouts at once!

    Be able to see 2 client workout stats at once! Sometime I have duo session that perform the same workout; I'd like to be able to look at and update stats for both at once.

  10. Add a Prompt, "Are you sure you want to delete this exercise? It is currently being used in an exercise plan"

    I updated and removed custom exercises in the library. I did not realize it would also remove it from an existing master exercise plan. A prompt that says, "Are you sure you want to delete this exercise? It is currently being used in a master exercise plan" would have been helpful to avoid this oversight.

  11. The ability to input notes when doing exercises

    Many clients request to input notes, like the height of block they used, etc. This allows a client to make their notes and use them the next they pull up the exercise in their program.

  12. We need to be able to build phases of a programme that are different durations. EG phase of 8 weeks, intensification phase of 4 weeks

    We need to be able to build phases of a program that are different durations. EG an accumulation phase of 8 weeks, followed by an intensification phase of 4 weeks. Can currently only create phases of the same length of time

  14. Highlight when sets are added via the 'add set' button

    There are a lot of people asking for an option to delete sets when they're added by accidentally bumping the 'add set' button (multiple suggestions and upvotes).

    It looks like the PM, Trevor, suggests just leaving it blank as it won't be saved. I guess this is fine, although it's a bit annoying if you bump the button a couple of times and just have to scroll past like a couple of extra added super sets.

    My main concern is that if I bump the 'add sets' button, which is really easy to do, I don't know if I've accidentally…

  16. Add RPE targets/rating to each set of an exercise and also to progression tables

    The ability to see how each client is rating an exercise speicifically and give them a target to hit on this exercise would be great.

    What would be even better is if you could also add this to the progression tables. So you might start someone on RPE 7 on an exercise week 1 and slowly through a training block move them up to an 8, then a 9 etc..

  17. Auto-fill sets and reps when building workout

    When you add the sets and rep targets on the first exercise, automatically use these targets for the next exercises you add to the workout. For example if I am creating 5 sets, with a target of 5 reps for 'Leg press', when I add Bench press I would like it to now automatically apply the same sets and target.

    There must be the option of English, Spanish and Portuguese (Br). They are the 3 types of clients that I have and the fact that it is only in English generates rejection and that means that I lose potential clients.

  20. Automatic Progression Spreadsheet Changes When Updating Client Programs

    have the capability of substituting exercises within the progression spreadsheet, but also have the capability of adding exercises week by week, and removing exercises for deload weeks for example.

    All without having to create new workouts in the training phase.
