This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Option for Product link to be temporarily unavailable

    There is a toggle switch for the Trainerize.me page. The same thing could be done for the link as an On/Off switch. I have a product link I have put in many places however I am now worried about too much traffic/can't take more clients. However if I delete this product/link I will have to manually go everywhere to replace the old link(I've been plugging this link for 3 months on podcasts, youtube vids, websites, social medias etc etc) with the new link when I'm ready to take new clients.   2. Ability to make phone number field required during sign up.

    I would like to collect the phone numbers of my clients so I connect with them. Make this a required step.

  3. Multiple invoicing

    I have clients in recurring invoices that then want to buy extras that would require a separate one time invoice. It would be nice being able to send additional invoices as needed even if someone is already on a recurring invoices set up.

  4. Terms and conditions per product

    Currently terms and conditions can be only generic in the welcome email - but they often should be different for different products. Should be able to have different documents for different products.

  5. Being able to set and change a product start date per customer - including new customers products already sold!

    Currently, there isn't a way to manually sell to a new customer, so you can't set the start date of that product after a new customer purchased using a checkout link (I,e, ALL new customers). You can't change the start day of an already sold product. Needs to be able to change the start day, or, if at last there will be a way to sell a product manually without sending a checkout link, to set the start date when you sell the product. (this was marked resolved missing the whole point).

  6. Add a referral section for clients to refer friends to sign up to your service

    Existing member gets discount from next payment, new member gets discount from first month. Trainer gets to pre set what the discount would be.

  8. Automatically distribute clients to trainers

    We have a sign up page but I want to automatically assign clients in a round robin way to a bunch of trainers so I don't need to do it manually.

  9. More flexibility with billing/scheduling payments

    When I go to schedule a new package for a client (say their current automated program ends in two weeks) but I want to plan for their program to change at the end of this so I schedule a new program, the client panics because they get a message saying they need to accept the new plan and then have to pay for it in advance. I need a way to schedule out packages with being able to control the notify, pay, deliver schedule specifically.

    Can we find a way where the trainer chooses WHEN to notify the client of…

  11. To have the ability to automatically upgrade to the next client package when filled

    So currently when you hit your limit on a certain client package the next client gets shown an optin form to basically a waiting list. What I would like to option for is to be able to automatically upgrade to the next package up so they don’t have to wait for me to upgrade manually and contact them. Maybe the option to opt in to this for those that want it. (In trainerize pay - number of seats)

  13. The ability to back charge clients for services and access to the app when cards decline.

    Clients who wait to update their payments should be back charged for the access. When the client gets kicked out and signs back up they essential receive access for the days that their payments don't go through. I have a client who took longer to update her info because she couldn't do it on her phone through the app. We had to resign her back up which created a new due date. She rarely accesses the desktop version. I would've updated her payment information for her but that doesn't seem possible either.

  14. Analytics within the app that shows how many clients converted from a free trial to a paid product

    I'd like to be able to track which products are the most successful in up-selling clients to more expensive products. If my free 14 day trial isn't up-selling clients into custom plans or boot camps, but my nutrition plan is showing more success in up-selling clients to those higher plans, I want to be able to keep track of this data.

  15. Ability to pause, freeze or pro-rate a payment to accomodate vacations and time-off

    Ability to pause, freeze, pro-rate or change payment date of client's next invoice payment date instead of cancelling their plans and restarting.

    This is to acomodate when clients want to go on vacation, are sick or have any other time off.

  19. Be able to charge a one-time setup or enrollment fee for a recurring purchase

    There should be an option to include an enrollment fee when someone subscribes to a recurring payment program. Like $49 enrollment and then goes to $15/month after that so if they cancel they would again have to pay that $49.
