Voice messages!
It’s a bit hard to get your excitement or instructions across when sending written messages so I think voice messaging would be a great addition. I’ve had clients reach out to me this way on IG and the response is much more fluid.

You and your client MUST be on app version v.7.114.0 in order for the voice message function to work on mobile. It will not work otherwise. Certain Custom branded apps are still rolling out, but you should be getting it shortly if you haven’t so far.
Few important things you should know about voice messages feature:
- Voice messages are available in DMs, and Groups, and both on Web and Mobile.
- You have 2 ways of sending voice message:
-Tap, Hold to Record and Release to send
-Tap, Hold, Swipe up to lock for hands free, Record hands free and Tap to send
- Length of voice message is up to 5min long.
- You have ability to speed up the voice message to up to 2x.
- Voice messages in groups are off by default for clients, but you can turn it on in the settings.
- Just like any other message you can delete voice message.

Please note below items we are aware of an working on. We don’t have precise ETA yet for it:
- User can’t start new thread with a voice message - currently in development and we will be releasing this fix soon
- Trainer can’t turn off voice messages for clients in DMs - on the roadmap no ETA at the moment but you can vote for this idea here as we will be regularly checking demand for this which will help us prioritize this feature.

Would love to know an ETA as well, I think as many others have stated, I've considered switching out platforms for the 2024 year as I've ran Trainerize for multiple years now, and one of my clients favorite things is the ability to have more personal touch, but they dislike having to access across multiple platforms 🥲

Today when I logged into my TRZ account there was a Pop Up message that seemed to tease Voice Messages launch in 2024.
Can you provide a more concrete ETA as I am actively migrating VM to another platform. If this is really launching early 2024 I will stop this migration and save a lot of time.

Voice messaging is a must for coaching. Having to use multiple apps is annoying. I dont use the message feature on Trainerize as there is no voice messaging. I use whats app for commucation. Im trialling another coaching app at the moment with this feature and it works great

Yes! I would LOVE this. At the moment, I have to use WhatsApp for this - I find voice notes just add a bit more of a personal aspect to clients / members coaching experience.

I see this has been started, happy to hear that. Just want to add that I would prefer this be put out before any new recipe/nutrition features. This is a crucial piece of my coaching, and it's very inconvenient having to use a separate app for audios. The only other way is via text, which I don't like my clients having my personal number. Hopefully this will be out soon!!

We've been waiting for this feature for years and nothing seems to happen. This is an essential way to communicate with clients!
in my opinion, this is a MUST-HAVE and a crucial part of coaching.

Would loooove if we could add voice memo as an option with our chats to clients, honestly saves me having What's App also to communicate for client technique videos, check in's etc!

Is this still happening? It’s half way through 2023? I really think this is an extremely important feature
