Built-in food journal / food diary / meal tracker and macro tracking
Instead of having to use Lifesum, MyFitnessPal or Fitbit, be able to track food directly in the app.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’re marking this idea as completed! If you are running into MFP syncing issues, switch over the in-app meal tracker.

Allow the app to pull more data from apple health such as nutrition so not all clients have to use MFP

In app food tracking, like myfitness pal

Too many glitches with the connect with my fitness Pal. Annoying that they have to use another app.
Everything should be in one. my pthub app has this feature and is much cheaper than trainerize. Will switch if trainerize doesn’t add this soon -

I consistently, and with every one of my clients, have issues with MyFitnessPal and Trainerize. Trainerize will choose to switch 2x in the same week from MFP to FitBit even though FB isn't being used for food tracking by the client. Trainerize also consistently disconnects or stops showing data from MFP without changes in settings, and will switch to just showing calories and macros instead of actual food choices. It's quite frustrating.

Instead of having to connect Trainerize to another fitness app, it would be great if Trainerize had a tracking section for clients to do their macros/food logging. Too many glitches happen when connecting Trainerize to another app. Thank you for the consideration.

Many clients have complained about having to use multiple apps. And the my fitness pal and trainerize often glitch and don’t sync properly
Would be a great feature to be able to have it all in one !

With some late update the sync in no longer automatic and i have to bother my clients whenever i want to check their nutritional compliance. THAT SUCKS. Fix it ASAP!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! I can't wait for the day for it to happen! So many of my clients have experienced glitch issues with Fitness Pal not syncing their entries or Fitbit not having an easy entry system. I lose clients because there is no perfect food tracker system in place. Would love to have it within Trainerize, so we don't have to outsource the food tracking app, it would change our businesses! Thank you!!

It would be nice for client's to be able to manually enter their daily caloric intake without having to sync with MyFitnessPal or FitBit.

Every single client complains about having to use two apps. I’m sure this would be a huge undertaking but it would be so clutch.

As all my clients use Myfitnesspal to log their food (which then syncs with Trainerize, which is the main app we use) it would be nice for them not to have to download both apps every time, or to just use trainerize to do this.
Mfp also gives them calories that then they have to change. It would be nice if mfp could be integrated in a way that when I set their nutrition goals they have them there already, and they can log food/scan barcodes etc directly on trainerize. -

So the calories and macros you set for your clients on trainerize, once connected to my fitness pal, automatically change the goals to why the trainer set for the client.

Many of our clients are asking for more syncing capabilities from Trainerize. Not everyone uses just a fitbit. They use Apple watches and more. Please expand syncing capabilities! Folks also use other apps to track food and other things like BP now, like Samsung Health, or even Google health.
Additionally, the syncing needs to be cleaned up. We have issues with almost every client who tries to sync MFP to Trainerize and MFP continues to claim it is not on their end.
