This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

    Is it possible to add a community based workout and leaderboard feature similar to a lot of CrossFit Gym software. This would be super helpful to keep people motivated and for daily challenges.

  2. Consolidate ALL requests for #SEAT_SETTINGS

    Can you add a place for Trainer/Client to record Seat Settings?

    Example, MATRIX REAR DELT / CHEST FLY

    REAR DELT: Seat 3, Arm 1 or S3, A1
    CHEST FLY: Seat 5, Arm 2 or S5, A2

    This small freeform notation area for all exercise(s) gives trainers the ability to ensure clients are using equipment correctly/safely.

    Also, this area needs to be FREFORM. It can be Alpha-Numerical. This area could capture Elastic Band Color/Weight; Plyobox Height; etc. [Notes from Trainer to Client]

  3. Exercise regressions/substitutions suggestions

    I would like to have a place to put exercise regressions and substitutions in with the program, without them being in the list with the workout. maybe if there were a box next to or below an exercise in the list, or a dropdown with options for regressions or substitutions for exercises that a client can't perform for whatever reason, and they would be easy for them to access.

  4. Provide a copy button when clients are tracking workouts so they don’t have to take time to input the same information for each set.

    Clients can save time inputting their information for an exercise if they use the same weight and do same reps by simply hitting a copy or repeat button

    Please add a section so members can add notes to their favorite exercises like what are their favorite settings on machines or whatever equipment or variation they prefer.

  6. Personal Bests shown in session summary.

    I love that I'm told when personal bests happen for my cleints but it is very frustrating that I can't easily see which exercises these happened on. Maybe a little blue tick next to sets that triggered personal bests and a green tick for top volume..

  7. individual changes to master programs

    The master programs are good but more general it would be nice to be able to individualy adapt master programs on individual clients pages as required for there needs, rather than having to change the master program and it effect everyone

  8. Client able to create re-usable workout, not just one-time use WOD

    Trainerize is an awesome software for tracking all things related to progress on the client end.

    I personally have a lot of clients and following that would love to use my custom-branded app to track their weight, photos, nutrition, etc. but don't have the ability to create a re-usable workout to track their own training on their end.

    It would be awesome if a client could create their own workout that is saved for re-use in their workout section, storing their progress like coach-created workouts - instead of just a WOD that is only for one-time use, meaning they would…

    Move the exercise "Search by key words or shortcuts" box to the left or above the search results. It blocks the top search results.

  11. Have an "Optional" Feature in the Workouts

    I would love to have "Optional" feature on my master programs. Similar to how "Supersets" are shown in the program, it would say "Optional" instead. This would be great for bonus work, example core finisher or an advanced exercise challenge. That way clients wouldn't feel pressured/obligated to do it, but can choose to if they want!

  13. Fix the way programs logs are presented to coaches

    The current way we use to review clients training logs is really poorly presented and confusing at worst.

    We need it to be presented to us in a coherent way where the exercise order follows the program and all logged sessions are presented from left to right.

  14. On assisted machines the app needs to recognise that lower weight os actually an improvement

    The app fails to recognise that as you progress through the assisted machines that lower weights are actually improvements. This is critical to get fixed especially for the clients that thrive off getting new PBs and use this as a toll to keep motivated

  15. Allow clients to filter exercises by tags in the substitute/search menu

    Allow clients to better find exercises based off This audio fire searches Or filters. This way they can find better substitutes through specific equipment, Muscle groups, or training levels. This way they can browse without needing to know the exact name to find the exercises.

  16. Japanese Translated Workout

    Hi Trainerize,

    This is Hikaru from New Zealand speaking Japanese.
    I want to suggest that you and I need to have japanese translated workouts for japanese. I have some clients from japan and they are not able to read english. If possible, I am able to work as translator for helping those clients and also you are able to spread this greatest app to japanese customers and make profit from them.

    I have never seen this kind of app in Japan so it would be perfect for Japanese coaches and trainers.

  18. Decimal number for repetitions

    Currently, a client cannot log a number of reps on a strength training exercice with decimal number. You can type it but the app won't save it. However I think this little feature is massive as it allows the client to precise he hit failure and approximatively also in what part of the rep range he/she hit it. This is massive because :
    - as a coach I can be sure the client hit failure (which may be important if I prescribed it) because he/she would input a decimal number
    - more advanced clients can require a few sessions to…

  19. Client and Trainer to add notes for workouts that both parties can see

    Currently the trainer can leave a note about a workout. This feature would be great if the client can see these notes too.

    It would be handy say when I do an AMRAP with a client during a PT session and we record their time, then they can repeat that workout on their own and easily access their previous time and try beat it on their own.

  20. Ability to Record Reps & Weight in Guided Workouts

    Create ability to record reps & weight lifted during guided workouts.

    Either allow for the client to enter while the exercise is underway, or create a second "exercise" we can add to guided sessions after a given movement is complete for the client to records reps & lbs (this could even be part of a special 'rest' exercise).
