Screenshot Blocker for Barcodes
Clients are reporting that members are able to do a screen shot of their ABC barcode and text/share to a non-member thus allowing that non-member to use the screenshot of the barcode to gain access to their gym. They want us to enable the app to where a member cannot screenshot or share the image with anyone else thus preventing fraudulent activity. Typically it turns the screen black or at least the outcome of the screen shot. Example similar to the Les Mills feature where a member cannot screen record any of the content that is playing on their phone.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We’re marking this idea as completed! This was satisfied by adding a dynamic QR barcode that is configured to NOT save down to Apple Wallet. If you do not see this in your mobile app, please reach out to your ABC representative to turn this feature on.
Thanks!

In some photo editing apps, if using the free trial version, there is a feature built in to prevent screenshots. Ex from the photo editing app: When attempting to screenshot the barcode on a 'non-free filter', the app displays a message stating no screenshots allowed and a photo is not saved to the camera roll. I think this would be highly effective if a similar feature were added to the our app along with an automatic notification (email, etc.) sent to the club owner with details of the member that attempted to screenshot the barcode.

an alternating QR code in place of a traditional barcode would be nice as well, so long as it is not changing the barcode value itself in the member record.
