We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Food allergies and low FODMAP

    I like the meal ideas but marked no dairy due to an allergy it still suggested whey protein ( not dairy free whatsoever) definitely needs some tweaking and I'd love to see low FODMAP included as well. There were many beans and lentils suggested I can't have more than the fodmap suggested serving if at all. I'd also say being able to select certain foods I can't eat at all like cauliflower for example yet it was suggested for certain meals. Basically more specific for diet selections to weed out problem foods. This would also make it more friendly to…

  2. Transition time in between sets

    There’s no time to move in between different exercises in the sets. The pause feature is clunky and doesn’t always work smoothly. By the time I’m in place for the next exercise, it’s already well into the countdown. Please add 5-10 seconds to allow for picking up other weights or moving from standing to floor.

  3. Previous Weight Data on Apple Watch

    I don’t like having my smartphone with me during workouts because it’s distracting, so I rely on my apple watch for tracking data and sets. I just switched to this app because my personal trainer gives me his workouts through it, but I hate hate hate that you can’t see your previous weight data on the Fitness app for Apple Watch. You can only see it on the phone app, so now I have to take my phone with me during workouts, which always poses distractions. If this feature isn’t added in the near future, I’ll probably be switching back…

    A library of all exercises with their demo videos and the users stats, if applicable. The ability to look at a particular exercise without having it linked to a particular workout.

  8. To be able to edit your workouts before hitting start

    It would be nice if we could edit our exercises before hitting start. Be able to select substitutions prior so there isn’t time wasted during.

  10. Have the first (training) video on a much slower pace. The man has an accent and it's hard for me to understand him and he pushes it fast.

I've struggled the entire time I have been on the program since I've missed that initial training covering all the basics. I've tried replaing the video a number of times, but I continue to not understand it. :- (

  11. More Meal Tracker App options

    I'd like to see more options to connect other more popular Meal Tracker apps. MyFitnessPal forces user to pay for barcode scanning. I'd like to see "Lose It" or Weight watchers as an option.

  12. Carry WODS over to the next month automatically.

    The app does not allow you to schedule workouts for the next month, only the current month. Have workouts carry over to the next month automatically.

  13. Not having to stop a workout to switch to gym/home options.

    I have a Smith Machine at home so I can do many of the “gym” options, but not all and it would be nice to go see what the “Home” option is. I have to save my workout which messes up the time it takes and workout streaks/etc. If I want to switch due to inadequate equipment, I can substitute but it takes a bit of time to search for the other option and sometimes the # of reps are different on the home/gym option. It doesn’t change the number if I substitute the item.

  15. Apple app stability improvement

    The Trainerize app overall needs significant improvement to its stability. In iOS- both the app and the Apple Watch app - far too frequently stopped tracking, freeze, or force quit on its own. Every 3rd or 4th workout it’s crapping out. issue. Rather than adding new features, really wish the team would focus on core function (workout tracking, HR/BPM, etc) operability and stability.

  16. Pantry tracking

    The ability to be able to add what is already in one's Pantry before creating the next round of meals.
    I would like to see the ability to stop wasting food and money when ingredients are left over from the grocery shop.

    It would be nice to be able to further filter the meals by ingredients and cuisine. The search functions only searches by the title of the meal, which may not be descriptive enough. This would make planning easier based on what ingredients we have on hand

  18. Start and stop your workout within each workout. Also when you hit Save, their should be a 2nd popup verifying you really want to save

    Please add the ability to start/stop the workout within the workout OR add a 2nd pop up when saving verifying you want to save. I’ve accidentally hit Save and it stops your watch from tracking your HR for the rest of your workout. You should be able to go back into the workout and it start tracking your HR again on your watch.

  19. Monthly view like there used to be!

    The monthly view allowed one to see number of toral workouts for tge month. Also permitted to notice slowdowns..

  20. Add Notes

    While logging the workout it would be nice to be able to add notes to a specific exercise log to remember how I felt on that set or if something needed to be adjusted.
