Coach / Trainer - ABC Trainerize

We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified.

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

Thanks!

  2. Change the way coaches create and build programs

I love trainerize for clients however for coaches I feel like it's lacking in programming department. It loads very slowly for starts but I don't feel like it's as easy to navigate and build out programs. What I loved about True Coach for the coaching side you have the ability to see the calendar and edit workouts while looking at a week view. Meaning I can see the workout I'm buidling but also each program I've build on previous days. Which allows for more cohesive programming when I can reference the previous workouts and program as a whole vs. one workout…

  3. Let user add notes and images to an exercise, persistent between workouts.

Right now it looks like it's all geared towards the trainer - but let the user also add notes and images to help me remember and learn from session to session.

  4. AUTO SAVE, AUTO SAVE, AUTO SAVE

How is this not a priority? I have lost all of my content so many times because trainerize is so behind by missing this one essential feature that every other app and progam has.

  8. A pop-up message letting you know you're about to delete a completed workout!

If you go into a client's calendar and click on a completed workout bubble it deletes it! Not only does it get rid of the workout history with no way to bring it back. It also deletes the points they got for that workout in any challenge they are a part of. Trainerize customer service has no ability to undo any of it or even adjust the client's points in the challenge. At minimum there should be a pop-up that informs you that you're about to delete a client's previously completed workout and ask you if you wish to delete…

  12. Add 'Boxing' as a cardio option. Include a fatigue/motivation tracker

First, add 'Boxing' as a cardio option in workout logs, allowing clients to specify type (pad work, bag work), rounds, and duration, while tracking estimated calories burned and feedback notes. Second, implement a fatigue and motivation tracker, prompting clients to rate both after each session on a 1-5 scale, with visual data charts to spot trends, an optional comment box for insights, and alerts for consistently low motivation or high fatigue.

  13. How to Use a Chin-Up Dip Station

A home gym chin-up dip station is an excellent piece of equipment for targeting your upper body, especially your back, arms, chest, and shoulders. It typically combines both chin-up bars and dip bars into one compact unit, making it a versatile addition to your home gym setup.

Benefits of a Chin-Up Dip Station

Chin-ups: Focus on your biceps, upper back, and forearms.
Pull-ups: Engage your entire upper back, shoulders, and arms.
Dips: Target your triceps, chest, and shoulders.
Core Workouts: You can also incorporate hanging leg raises or knee raises for your abs.

  14. WOD - Copying WOD from one day to another, not just moving

When I create a WOD in a client's calendar, it would be so incredibly helpful if I could copy that workout to another day, instead of just moving it. I'd like to have the ability to use WOD multiple times without having to create a training program. The training program feature is awesome, but I train clients either in their home, or at a gym with varying equipment and varying abilities and very rarely use the same training program from client to client.

  15. Separate Sections to enter progressions for workouts!

When adjusting the progression, it only has one space to enter the reps, weight tempo, etc. for each workout. It would be helpful to have the ability to select what we want to add to track the workout and that then populating separate sections to enter said chosen tracking method. Limit the amount of progression tracking selections to 3.

I.E. I assign the Bench Press to a client, the client is in prep for a powerlifting competition so one of the assigned bench press workouts is set to be 3-1-1-0 tempo.

Ideally I would like to be able to select:…

  16. The ability to flag specific exercises for individual clients

If there are exercises that aren't appropriate for a particular client, I'd like to be able to flag those exercises so that if I attempt to add it to their program again, I am automatically notified of that.

  18. Create a graph per workout, not only per exercise !

Create a graph per workout, not only per exercise. It's very important to analyse the total weight by workout with a good graph. Thank's !

  20. Allow program periodisation, rather than just workout

Their periodisation spreadsheet is amazing, but only for workouts within a program as far as I can see.

It would me amazing to be able to periodise an entire program, for example a hypertrophy plan where progression is key.
