We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Manipulating start Dates for Master programs assigned to a group

    We are currently unable to manipulate the start date of a master program subscribed to a group! For example, I had a Weightloss challenge set to start on January 15th. When I subscribed all of my challengers to the master program as a group, I was ONLY able to pick the 13th (a Monday) or any Monday for that matter as my start date! So I had to unsubscribe everyone from the group , and then upload ONE BY ONE the same master program/challenge just so that I was able to change the start date of the program! Very tedious…

    As a trainer, you can go in a configure their dashboard by clicking on the little gear icon on their dashboard.

    The way you rearrange and turn on/off the graph tiles is the way your clients will see it.

    As such you can invite a client to the platform and then customize the dashboard to way you would like it.

  7. Add payment support in Japan

    I am an American personal trainer in Japan, Would love to see JP payment support and a version of the app in Japanese. I think a lot of trainers here can make their own videos, but would love to have the App in their own language. My gym has 5 trainers as well that wish they could use the app with their customers.

    The zapier options now allow you to modify a client’s meal plan using the “Attach meal plan PDF” action and attach a file from Google Drive or Drop box.

    Similarly, you can now use the payments features in Trainerize to automate this.

    On purchasing of a product, you can have a meal plan PDF automatically attached to the client.

  12. Allow same day payout for a 1% fee.

    Allow trainers the option to deposit their money instantly for a 1% fee instead of making them wait two full days. This helps us trainers get access to the money faster and creates another source of income for the trainerize brand.

    You can now move your Trainerize Pay to a Stripe account and directly connect it to Trainerize.

    With the Stripe account,
    - flexible payout schedules (including instant payouts)
    - you do not have the $1000 limit.
    - you get lower rates (Stripe’s official rates)
    - full access to Stripes dashboard and reporting

    Simply go to your Payments page and hit Switch. You can create a new account or connect your existing Stripe account.

  13. Add hip thrust exercise and smith machine exercises

    Currently there is only a glute bridge option but no hip thrust exercises (eg. smith machine hip thrust)
    Also noticed there’s not a lot of Smith machine exercises in general or banded exercises.
    Also perhaps some partner exercises would be great as I often train 2 clients together (eg. partner Squats, sit up with medicine ball pass to each other).

  14. FILES / Informational Tab - Upload informational videos, documents etc

    I just want to be able to upload videos or documents (other than exercises) eg: "How to track on MFP", Macros 101, Guide to Supplements, How Fat Loss Works, Which triaining is best for you etc etc.

    Because this is an online coaching platform you want to be able to give as much information to the client as possible.

    A seperate tab on the overview page would be perfect. And allow clients to be able to access the Files whenever they needed information.

    With the new v6 app, you can now record a video message directly from the mobile app, or pick from the camera roll.

    You can also attach a file in the messenger.

  15. Macronutrient Calculator

    An in-app Macro Calculator would be helpful. One that could do the heavy lifting and either update for a single client or mass update clients macros based off of their measurements/progress. This would help for groups or group challenges.

    Currently a feature in My PT Hub but not a fan of their UI.

    I've brought up this idea to other training software providers and all they do is link me calculators as if I don't know how to use google lol. It would be nice to be able to do this all in-app.

  17. Allow Trainers to Start Programs on Any Day of The Week

    As is, I can only subscribe a client to a program with a start date on a Monday. Not all of my clients billing cycle is set up to start on Monday, and I simply cannot keep up with the workload to create new programs starting on Monday every time. It seems silly that I am unable to start a program on any day of the week.

  18. Allow videos to be sent from camera roll as attachments in messenger.

    Currently, videos cannot be sent from clients to me or vice versa. This would be a helpful feature so I don't have to toggle back to texting when a video needs to be sent.

    For example, my client needed to send me a video of her home gym, but could not so texted to me.
