This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

    Allow Trainerize to connent with a Facebook Page for a personal trainer. I don't necessarily want to use my Facebook Profile page.

    Hi,

    Archiving this old idea as Facebook has changed the way it works with Trainerize over the years. You do not need to connect your FB account to Trainerize anymore. Clients can directly share their progress within the mobile app.

    If there is any specific Facebook integration you would like to see, please come back and vote for it and let us know how it should work.

  2. Tracking sports specific practices and competitions

    I train a lot of young athletes and need to balance their training with their sports practices and games. Having the option to create a category such as "lacrosse practice" or "batting practice" or "basketball game" and give the duration helps to better organize their training for the week and make sure I'm not over or under training them depending on their schedule.

  4. Automatically sync Trainerize nutrition goal over to MyFitnessPal

    The ability to sync the macro goals we set for our clients to the my Fitness pal app so the client won't have to set them themselves.

  5. Add the ability to change an exercise's "exercise type" within a workout.

    For example, the ability to change an exercise from "strength" to "timed". I often have exercises that will be done for time in one workout and reps in another. It sounds simple, but clients always seem to get confused when I tell them to do jumping jacks for reps, but the app is asking them to record a time.

  6. assign hashtags for social media posts

    We would like to be able to predefine specific hashtags to be posted along with the "workout started" into the social media postings when clients create a social media post.

  9. Show the actual date within a Master Program, rather than Day 1, Day 2, and so on and so forth.

    It would be nice to see the actual days of the week vs day of program when building a calendar for group fitness.

  10. DO NOT ADJUST TARGETS TO MEAL PLAN

    The meal plan options are not specific enough to be adjusting the MAIN CLIENT CALORIE / MACRO goals to them. Please fix this immediately!
    Most people are using this as a general recipe guide / options not as a strict meal plan given the lack of flexibility with it.

  11. Client comments should also be deleted when a client account is deleted

    I've noticed that when a client account is deleted, the thread of their comments still remains in the Overview on the mobile App. When a client is deleted, ALL their data should no longer appear.

  14. Add the possibility of embed a video inside a set

    Allow the client to have the possibility of add a video to the set, while at the same time allowing the client to record within the app, and that the client can keep listening to the music while recording

  15. Free trial without taking a client spot

    We should be able to sign people up for a free trial without it counting as a client spot. This limits the amount of people that can try it out for free, which ultimately affects us being able to potentially get more clients, which affects us potentially purchasing a higher package from Trainerize.

  16. Be more specific on calories for meal plans

    More specific calories on the meal plans, rather than rounding them up to the nearest 100. I tried to set a clients cals at 1670, meal plan shows for 1700. But all 3 days are 1740 - its too far out! Thanks!!

  20. Push charges when payments don't go through

    If a clients card doesn’t go through you have to wait 3 days even when they tell you they fixed it. Like any other service the trainer should be able to push payment on a card on file. This is only form of income so to have to wait 3 days sometimes is too long.
