Allow individual customizations on top of master programs
Be able to add individual workouts, auto-messages on top of master programs so you can add another layer of customization.
Hi everyone,
This is something that we are looking into. What additional customizations are you looking for?
Please leave us some comments on some ways you might layer things on top of your program.
Thanks!

For me, I would like to create more advanced movements within a masters program without changing the program.
So I have clients who are currently doing a goblet squat who are now strong enough to do a barbell back squat. I don’t want to change the program because it’s meant to start off basic, but I want the substitution to stay for those who can go to something more advanced.

Program Visibility and Selection: Upon subscription, clients should be presented with a dashboard showcasing all available programs. They can browse, filter, and select a program that aligns with their fitness goals.
Program Flexibility: Clients can start, pause, and stop any program as per their convenience. This feature is crucial for accommodating life’s unpredictabilities like illness or vacations.
Switching Capability: Enable clients to switch between programs without hassle. If a client feels a program is not right for them or wishes to try something different, they can do so freely.
Free Trial: Integrate a free trial option for first-time users. This would allow potential clients to experience the program without commitment, increasing the likelihood of subscription.
I believe this feature would significantly enhance the user experience by providing flexibility and control, ultimately leading to higher satisfaction and retention rates. -

Are there any updates on those request? What other information would help trainerize implement these functions?

I would love to be able to duplicate an entire program including automated messages, habits, menu etc. Literally everything would just duplicate and then I can customize for a new client. I run very complex programs that include detailed weekly habits for health. It is super time consuming to have to add automated messages to each account for each week for an 8 week program (along with habits etc)

If I subscribe 10 people to a master program, and 3 have different limitations, I want to have the ability to edit their versions of it without having to duplicate the whole master program, make edits and then subscribe them to it - and make them lose all their progress they would have made on the original program they would have been working on.

When you assign a client a master program, the trainer can't go in and make adjustments/modifications for that specific client without changing the master program.

For most trainers, we are utilizing a master's program for our clients. In many situations, those clients still need small adjustments to those particular workouts within the master's program. Unfortunately right now if you make any changes to those workouts it adjusts the whole master's program. Having the ability to subscribe and then customize a master's program for a client would be beneficial.

I want to be able to do anything really. Just let me subscribe "Client Joe" to a master program then make adjustments to his individual program that doesn't affect the master program itself. I want to be able to edit parts of the existing workouts within that master program but also add additional workouts to their schedule while they still subscribe to the master. This is especially true when that person is part of a group. I train hockey teams where I have the team subscribe to a master but then I want to individualize programs somewhat based on their goals/position/strengths/weaknesses. But right now, when I want to do that, I'm forced to unsubscribe them which removes them from the group and now my messaging to the team is also affected. Just remove the rules and let us be able to fully customize everything without pre-determined rules that don't always apply well to each situation.

Being able to just tweak a workout that’s already in their calender due to say injuries etc,
On mobile I can edit just that day, although it won’t let me shuffle the order of exercises.
When I go to do this on the desktop it doesn’t allow me to edit just that day, I end up having to create a copy of the workout and do the alterations and then add to their calender?! Unless I’m missing a trick

Having a master program to assign bulk clients but the ability to change exercise selection would be great and a huge help without also having them change it every session so it stays as their main exercise for the phase

It would be more efficient to be able to automate or schedule future WODs for a group.

Some master programs make it so convenient for us trainers, but the ability to edit a certain exercise when clients are in a master program would make a world of difference!

I really think this would make things a lot easier since this way we can keep people assigned to a single master program and still individualize their workouts or some of the messages and activities in their program.
So, my scenario looks like this: I would use a master program as a template for everyone who wants to sign up for a Fat Loss Program. In the master program I want to be able to work on Automated Messages that are sent to every client on that specific day of the program. I like sending personalized messages with useful information about fat loss and nutrition.
I would also like to assign Habits in the master program, so that the messages I'm sending go hand-in-hand with the habits they are working on at that time.
And I would like to be able to assign custom workout plans for each client, even though they are all following the same Fat Loss Master Program.
At the moment I have to copy the Master Program and make a custom program for each and every client. And this takes A LOT of time when having to assign New Auto Messages and Habits.
If the Master Program would be already finished that would be easier, but I'm working on it right now and I don't have all my Auto Messages sorted out.. and sometimes I find mistakes that I have to correct. And I have to copy paste the message for every client, which is very time consuming for such a simple task...
I wish this can be sorted out in the near future, as it is yet another small but significant drawback of the Trainerize experience.

There are so many things that need to be improved with this website and app.
It is not user-friendly at all for the coach! It's a great concept and and seems to be fairly good on the client's end, but It is absolute insanity trying to build programs on here!
Exercise videos don't upload properly.
Please fix this problem!
Also, is there anyway you can make it so that you can add a thumbnail to the video so that it shows the exercise you are doing?
It would also be awesome if you could do everything from both the website and app.
But it doesn't give you any option to customize Master programs, or the client's own program right from the app.
When I try to do it, the app seems to think I'm the client, and gives the option to enter the info from the workout, and to finish the workout.. as if I'm the client.
Why is this?
Also, is there any way that you can make it so that you can group all your client's programs together in master programs?.
Because it doesn't give you the option to customize individual clients programs on the website, or app, I need to make duplicate Master programs with my clients names on them.
But there is no way to transfer those programs to the tagged file, so they are not mixed in with all the other Master programs.
This system of building programs on this website and app is an absolute nightmare, and needs to be fixed.
It's a great concept, but I don't understand why it's so difficult to make it more of a simple process.

Would LOVE to have the option to create a "Master Program" with Calendar events, but the option to assign custom workouts to individual clients instead of 1 workout program for every client. As we all know, no one client is the same from a Training perspective! :)

I am wanting to add, lets say, stretches or 'rehab' exercises for someone who is subscribed to a specific program but needs a few extra personal touches.

I would love the ability to subscribe a client to a master program and then make tweaks as needed to JUST that client’s program without changing it at the master level. Most people fit a master program but need a few individualized tweaks. It would be nice to be able to make those without altering everyone’s program.

When you assign a client to a program you should still be able to add workouts to their “menu”.
The whole programs / plans / workouts scheme is very confusing. I can’t seem to streamline the initial setup process.
