Have different daily macro goals for different days or workout / non-workout days for carb cycling
I do a lot of competition prep and within prepping meal plans. It would be great to set up different macro and calorie intake goals for different days out of the week. Because it would allow my clients to fully understand carb cycling. For now I have uploaded a pdf version of the meal plan showing that but would be great if that can be adjusted as well when it comes to programming it within your platform.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for your great suggestion! We've added this to our work queue/raodmap. We'll post further updates here as our teams pick it up to work on it.

Thanks!

A detailed food plan is great, but I'm more interested I'm the macro split so I can adjust what I choose to eat while still hitting the Macro and Calorie goals.

Can someone from Trainerize acknowledge this request & let us know if it's in development? Would be hugely beneficial. Thanks!

When I program a calorie goal for clients I tend to give them moderate calorie days and a few higher-calorie days which they will hit on a weekend to give them a bit more flexibility or they can use the higher calorie days on their more difficult training days.
It would be nice to have the ability to set a calorie and protein target for a set amount of days rather than it being for the full week.
A nutrition protocol tab could be a good idea. We could program the client their moderate and high-calorie days, give them macro targets and then put a description underneath to provide any additional information and explain why we have set these targets.

I use Calorie Cycling and/or weekly re-feed days with my Nutrition clients regularly so would love to see the ability to set different nutrition targets for different days of the week (eg. Sun-Thurs = Target range X; Fri-Sat = Target range Y....or Sun-Fri = A; Saturday = B etc.)
MyFitness Pal is able to accommodate these different targets, so the clients can set correctly according to my recommendations in MFP but I can only have the one nutrition goal set in their Trainerize profile so Compliance isn't truly accurate?

I would love to carb cycle clients but it's difficult when im limited to one set calorie/macro layout. Ability to implement more than one and label each (i.e. leg day, rest day, etc.) would be great.

Rather than just having a daily calorie allowance, having a nutritional calendar which can allow for high / low calories days will provide greater flexibility when prescribing a nutrition program.
By scheduling in high / low days it provides the option of a more customisable experience for the client.E.g. 5 low days during the week, 2 high days on the weekend.
