This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Show client's default metric for weights

    For the purpose of proper load management, I personally update the needed weights in most cases for the clients.

    Therefore, I always need to waste time converting the numbers when my client uses different metrics, since the app shows me my default.

    If I ignore that and just use my default metric, then the clients need to do conversion for themselves, which is unpleasant, obviously.

  2. a way to copy exercises or parts of a workout, eg., super sets, from one workout to another

    Please make this platform a bit more flexible. I want to copy super sets and circuits across workouts and programs... cant be done

  3. client to be able to add notes during their workout

    so they can remember things like what cable attachment they used and small notes to form
    or what color band they used, small things to help them further from trainers notes

  4. WOD - Copying WOD from one day to another, not just moving

    When I create a WOD in a client's calendar, it would be so incredibly helpful if I could copy that workout to another day, instead of just moving it. I'd like to have the ability to use WOD multiple times without having to create a training program. The training program feature is awesome, but I train clients either in their home, or at a gym with varying equipment and varying abilities and very rarely use the same training program from client to client.

  5. Ability to turn on/off clients being able to leave comment on a workout

    For those that do not do custom programming and have more generic programs for clients, it would be nice to turn off the ability for clients to leave a comment. Some ask questions there and expect a coach to respond.

  6. Better master programs

    Do I just not know how to use the premade master programs ? It seems like there’s ONLY a handful and they only have a few workouts in them which are barely l enough effort for clients who know what they’re doing. I’m expecting a bit more than “ weeks 1-3” and only like three workouts lol essentially I want actual programs outside of the ones I’m making myself.

  7. Deload week toggle

    Have an option for a deload week within a program or at least a so that their weight and reps are not recorded as what they did the last week. Sometimes I do specific muscle group deloads and will accidentally do the weight shown as my last weight so this could be also be fixed by showing the last two weeks instead of just the last week next to the exercise. Or at least a notes section next to each exercise to record that you did a different tempo, used a different attachment etc. so we know why they were…

  8. Client exercise substitutions should carryover through the program

    We have some one-on-one clients and we have some autonomous clients that work with us through our branded app. A bulk of the friction feedback that we receive from our autonomous clients is that when they make exercise substitutions in a OnDemand program, they do not carry forward into the subsequent weeks. They have to continue to make the substitution week after week. This is small but it also seems like a poor user experience.

    Does anyone else think it would be a good idea to have user substitutions carry forward through the program, especially if they're based on accessibility?

  9. Allow program periodisation, rather than just workout

    Their periodisation spreadsheet is amazing, but only for workouts within a program as far as I can see.

    It would me amazing to be able to periodise an entire program, for example a hypertrophy plan where progression is key.

  10. Walking/ Running up AND DOWN stairs

    Walking up and down stairs, or running up and down stairs, for strengthening and conditioning for hiking and life in general, as well as rehab in some cases, even a few minutes walking slowly backwards on the treadmill works, if starting slow and using the sides for balance. Preparing someone for the ASCENT is all good and well but the DESCENT is the killer, ask any ultra distance runner of the comrades which is worse, the up or down run? the same can be said for hiking and tactical work, as well as rehabilitation.

  12. Allow trainers to include RPA and BPM per exercise as part of the "Enter Stats" functionality

    Allow trainers to include RPA and BPM per exercise as part of the "Enter Stats" functionality. Trainers use perceived exertion (RPE) and BPM/HR per each exercise during a training session to adjust the program for the next session. They need to be able to track this in the app. Also, could the trainer update the exercise for he next sessions live while training the client?

  13. Have ability to label blocks within a session

    I would appreciate the option to separate blocks within a session, allowing clients to clearly understand what to focus on. For example, a prep block, a strength block, and a conditioning block.

  14. Make it easier for clients to access there previous sets, reps, and weights completed

    Add a history button next to each exercise within the clients program, so they can check what weight, reps and sets they have done in the past. This is good for clients to be able to check their progression quickly.

  15. Allow addition of JPG/PDF images to workouts

    many clients also see a physical therapist and have exercises they are given on paper. It would be great to be able to add these so they have all their moves in one place. I also assign short yoga sequences and the library does not have these moves so uploading a jpg or PDF of a short routine would be super key.

  17. Train Semi-Private w/this Idea....

    MICRO-GYM OWNER FEATURE

    I want to be able to create a movement pattern for each day but have our trainers score each client. For example...

    Squat is the movement

    • Sally is super fit and by scoring her a +3 she will do Barbell squat

    • Peggy is not fit at all so she will be a -3 and will do an Assisted Squat

    • Tim is in the middle so he would get a +1 and do a KB Goblet Squat

    So we can have multiple people at different fitness levels training at the same time

  18. Retrieve deleted training phases or workouts accidentally

    I accidentally deleted a whole duplicate training phase and was supposed to delete the one that was creating duplicate training workouts on a client's calendar but accidentally deleted the wrong one and deleted the original and now having to go back through and re do the workouts that are now missing and clean up the duplicate workouts on the calendar. Would be so much easier to fix if I was able to retrieve the training phase I deleted and problem solved within a couple of minutes.
