We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  2. Show exercise/video automatically then have a NEXT button which automatically takes you to the next exercise/video.

    To eliminate so much breaks and button tapping- just show the video of the exercise move with a next button which will automatically take you to the next exercise/video.

  3. Add custom Display Name option to Trainerize

    Please add a “Use Custom Display Name” option. I do not want my First and Last name publicly available (because nobody knows my by my First Last, they will know me by my display name)

  5. Add a spot in the client app where they can add a note to their workout exercises

    So a client has a work out on their app that was assigned to them, I would like to see in that workout assignment, after each exercise when you put in your weight and reps a small area where they can make a note about that exercise, and have that for every exercise in their workout

  6. SYNC WITH ARBOLEAF SMART SCALE APP

    The Arboleaf smart scale is the one I use, also it is the most popular smart scale on Amazon, hence my choice. Syncing with this unit/ or app would populate: weight, BMI, body fat %, water saturation, visceral fat, muscle mass, bone mass, and metabolic rate/age.

  7. I would like to use the app solo.

    I had a trainer that I have since parted ways with. I would like to continue using the app to track my progress. How do I do that?

  8. Possibility to print out training plan in PDF format.

    Device screen is so small it is difficult to follow the plan so it would be great option to get printout on PDF via web UI.

  10. Stop the app crashing my phone

    Phone works fine, is up to date with apps and iOS, but phone locks, and then cannot unlock screen despite trying to do a hard reset. Phone is unusable for 5-10mins and then comes back. Only happens when trainerize workout is running 😕

  13. Integrate calories and macro tracking data with Apple Health

    I hate using MyFitnessPal, there are better apps in the iOS App Store. It would be better to just retrieve the data from Apple Health so there is one source of truth. I use LoseIt which feeds data into Apple Health, so Trainerize can be app-agnostic.

  14. Enable clients to add standard and custom daily habits with an easy to add reoccurrence

    Use case: Would like to add a repeating stretch activity as a habit with a specific start, stop and frequency.

  16. ability to view GTX and personal training group sessions times, dates

    GTX and other group personal training sessions and workouts. Be able to search if you are paying extra for these classes digitally or in person. Ability to see what day and time group classes are offered.

  18. Give trainers ability to color code exercises that are placed directly in regular routine

    My trainer will put substitutions right in my workout. My workout gets muddled that way, but would be easier to go through if the subs were a different color, allowing client to skip over it if it's not needed that day. Also, good for when a trainer wants to place optional exercises for days when a client wants to go harder. Color coding required, optional, and subs would make everything more organized.

  19. Give 5 seconds to prepare for next exercise

    With the timed workouts, it jumps right to the next exercise right after the one that you’re doing is finished. Giving just five seconds would allow you to get in position for the next exercise, rather than having you scramble to get in position.
