Go back to being able to edit meal name!
Sometimes I wait longer to track meals, and they aren’t at the right time of day (like I’ll log breakfast in the afternoon) and it will log it as snack or lunch. I used to be able to change it, but now I have to delete the whole thing if I made a mistake.
The app is super slow and mostly terrible.84 votes -

Keep each meal breakdown per added food
When you enter each meal, you can swipe left to delete, but I suggest you be able to click on each added meal to see the individual breakdown of carbs, fat, and protien, as well as macros. This gives me a better idea when I look back on entire days to see what specific meals or within each meal I might need to cut back on or portion better.

Manually add steps OR a way to sync steps on android devices
At the moment there is no reliable way to track steps on an android device unless you have a fitbit - Which a lot of people don't.
At the very least an option to manually add steps would work.
Syncing steps from myfitnesspal would also work.
Syncing with samsung health or similar would be ideal.I had to download 3 separate apps to get it to sync my steps to this app and that stopped working after 2 days anyway. Not being able to reliably sync my steps across is a real pain.

Adding food / meal
When I go to add food to an existing meal through the add section as opposed to going to the meal and then add food, it asks if if you want to replace or add to another meal. If you could just add to the existing meal that would be great otherwise you have to go back out and start again

Allow user to enter the serving size themself
The app defaults to 1 serving, e.g. 1 cup, and then only offers fractions. This is super clunky and time consuming. At least default it to the -. Better yet, allow user to enter in decimals.
