We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to track your mood or feelings for the day

    Your relationship with food is often linked to emotion so thinking about how you felt on a day is good to track against whether you stuck to plan that day

  2. Recipe builder/ adjust recipes in meal prep

    Please allow us to make a full recipe instead of doing all the math. It’s taking too long and I am using the 1st phorm app then transferring it over for macros. Also the ability to adjust the meal prep meals because my ingredients are different or I add more/different protein.

  4. Choose the equipment for workout

    It would be really effective if a particular workout plan enables us to choose from different equipments that could be used for the same. For example, how a particular move or exercise could be done with kettlebell/barbell/dumbbell etc., In that way people can always choose from what they have at home / gym.

  5. show pb's rather than last workout numbers next to each set/exercise

    If you have a bad day or are sick or can only do half a work out, you lose your benchmarks for next time. It would be better to have your personal best for that set of that exercise down instead of the most recent workout numbers

    When I search for food, it should prioritize foods I’ve recently selected at the top of the search results instead of making me sort through the entire database every single time.

  7. Ability to have a guided warm-up before or stretches cool down after

    It would be great if the app walked you through some stretches before and had a timer.

    Same for after the workout, some guided stretches

  8. Interface to Samsung fitness app (like the Fitbit app)

    I use a Fitbit to track and absolutely love the idea of interfacing my tracker app automatically to the app for logging food and steps etc.
    My partner also uses Trainerize but has a Samsung watch she uses as a tracker. This does not sync at all.

    Can this be developed?

    This app is available for apple products but not Samsung Products. Can you add a Samsung health to your platform? It links up with my fitness pal.

  12. Allow resistance band colours / descriptions to be chosen instead of weight

    There’s no way to record the type of resistance band used during an exercise - would like to record which band used so you can track improvement through the resistance bands.

  13. Manual step entry if Samsung Health can not be supported and myfitnesspal doesn't transfer steps

    If you are not able to work with Samsung Health or Galaxy watches and my fitness pal steps do not transfer. Then we need to be able to manually enter our steps. It is a disservice to coaches and clients to not be able to see those for a multitude of reasons. If we are "trusted" to enter workout, activity and sleep data, the steps should be a no brainer!! It's been 2 years (since Feb 2022 ) since the idea was suggested and highly voted on. Please help!!!

  16. Sort Recent Foods by Most Recent

    There appears to be no rhyme or reason to the sort order of “Recent Foods”. If it could sort by “most recently selected”, that would make it MUCH easier to add things that I ate recently (I tend to eat the same or similar things based on my grocery trips). I do have foods saved as favorite, and I use the meal copy and then adjust when I have recipes, so I can manage, but this seems like a logical and quick fix, and I don’t want to have 100 items in favorites just to try to find them again.

  17. Have a pause option to pause the workout.

    Just have a pause option. Sometimes when working out at home I have to run help kids or sometimes equipment are all taken at the gym so I would want to come home and finish my workout. I would love to pause workout option so the workout is not just running if I have to run take care of something else.

  18. Saved recipe section

    A separate section where I can build my recipe for say a soup or pasta using the food selection but then be able to say I ate 1/4 or 1/6 of the recipe as a total.

    So if I made a pasta using 1lb of chicken and 120g of dry pasta,1 cup of spinach, and 433ml of Alfredo sauce from Classico. I can enter this full recipe and then record in my diary that I ate 1/4 of the recipe and it be able to calculate the macros I actually ate.

    Then if I have more pasta tomorrow I can…

  19. Allow to enter meals in advance

    At the moment if I want to add the meals for the week, the tracker will not allow, which is not good. I usually plan my week in advance adding all the meals in MyFitnessPal

  20. Edit or substitute ingredients

    Ability to substitute/edit/delete ingredients in recipes. It is ENTIRELY too expensive to buy some ingredients for one serving for one person so I’ve had to get creative with substituting ingredients I already have or from other recipes.
