As this is one of the most popular requests, the product team has pulled this into the roadmap for 2022 but we had to push it to 2023 roadmap due to other critical system updates and features we had to do in 2022.     Currently you cannot make a custom exercise with the same name as a default exercise, nor can you edit or change the default exercise. This is somewhat problematic for those who do their own videos as there are many default exercises that use extremely common exercise names.

    There are any number of ways around this, of course, but they all involve some sort of kluge.
