Add RPE targets/rating to each set of an exercise and also to progression tables
The ability to see how each client is rating an exercise speicifically and give them a target to hit on this exercise would be great.
What would be even better is if you could also add this to the progression tables. So you might start someone on RPE 7 on an exercise week 1 and slowly through a training block move them up to an 8, then a 9 etc..

Hope this feature gets soon released. It doesn't have to be specifically RPE/RiR, just let me add and customize some sections.

Yes this is very important. I’m surprised Trainerize is behind on this because other coaching platforms already allow you to do this. There are way too many complicated buttons and hoops you have to jump through on Trainerize just to make small adjustments, not user friendly at all.

or preferably the option to choose either RIR or RPE - thanks.

Definitely, I have to use a separate coaching site for my powerlifting clients as I base the majority of their programming off the RPE scape , so being able to use it on trainerize and have all of my clients on the same site would be a game changer as I love every other aspect of the app.

Agree, would be great to add it in next to sets & reps as different exercises require different intensities 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

That would be a great option, as well as with the possibility to add notes

Allowing clients to rate RPE for each exercise and keep track of it. Self explanatory but would be very helpful especially for beginner clients that are getting used to learning how to track RPE RIR, and if they can lookback and see the same exercise, maybe they used the same weight reps, but RPE is lower now they are progressing

Yes! I actually got this suggestion from a client. Having the ability to rate each exercise within a workout would give us much more insight than only rating the overall workout at the end. Especially when we assign different RPE/Effort levels for each exercise and we want to see if the client actually followed the instructions.
Also, adding a note to each exercise would be helpful. It happens quite often to see clients change exercise order or do a different exercise because the machines/benches are occupied and they just don't have the time to wait for them to free up. So a quick note would help.
A quick note would also be helpful in many other situations "not performing well on an exercise, but performing well on others", "performing very well on an exercise at which previously the client had trouble" and stuff like this.

This would be a great way to monitor exertion of main lifts without being compared to condition and accessory work

I would prefer RIR to help them know when to progress

Yes, Trainerize! This is absolutely crucial for monitoring progress! The same weight for the same reps but with a lower RPE is still progress, but as I coach I wouldn't notice without monitoring individual set RPE

it would be very helpful to have a different rpe section for each exercise or set,so we make better progression or regression decisions

There should be a third box after each set to note down the RPE of the given exercise of that set. This would make it easy to use from a Powerlifting and Strength training perspective.

Next to sets/reps add in an RPE option is not clean to put it in target, it needs to be highlighted.
Like a lot of coaches certain exercises should be different in terms of RPE.
As of now we just get the full day RPE: which is too generic, or add in a way for clients to rate exercises individually with RPE
