Add ability for client to list chronic or diagnosed injuries and rate pain and symptom level during/after a given workout -- including ability for trainer to respond4 votes
Ability to order the workouts within a training day. It always seems to put "cardio" workouts after every other workout, and there are times when I'd like to specify the order18 votes

Add options to record Bio-metric Measurements along with the current body stats. Total Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, Triglycerides, Glucose, BMI, Waist Circumference. This would be great for tracking chronic disease risk factors. Would be great for corporate wellness programs.24 votes
When editing progression for a workout, it would be great to see the last 1-3 workouts stats (sets, reps, weight) (more the better) as well. You might need to adjust exercise based on previous stats, and having everything in view would make things so much simpler.10 votes
I would like a to add a fitness assessment or test, to be able to be inserted in their calendar monthly or 3 months, to give the client a strength progression.16 votes
I have a few clients who go "off-plan" and add a workout to their week that I didn't include in their overall plan. If it's a cardio workout, they can add cardio-general on the calendar. But they don't have the same option for a strength workout (for example, a "leg" day). Would love to give permission to them to add a workout and track their stats so I can make recommendations. Right now, they text me and I have to go add exercises, sets, reps. Double work!8 votes
Allow the ability for rich text in the Training Plan description to include BOLD and ITALICS to emphasize points.6 votes
When training with Exercise bands, we need the ability to log them.
We need to be able to log them, by the 2 main indicators used with bands, which are: COLOR (such as Red, Green, Black, Purple, etc) and Light/Medium/Heavy/XtraHeavy228 votes
Allow us to print the tracking sheets, for ALL (or even a selection of) clients at one time.
Example: I have 6 in person clients today. I print their tracking sheet, and put it on a clipboard. I have to switch into each client, to open the workout, and print it. I just want to press PRINT ALL TRACKING SHEETS, and be done.
As a Piggy-Back to this Suggestion. CARDIO needs a PRINT button.15 votes
It would be helpful when designing a multi-day program to be able to see all the days at once so that you can avoid duplicate exercises, progress certain exercises, move exercises to different days, etc... Currently you have to have multiple tabs open, can be tedious for 4-5x week programs21 votes
I have a suggestion that could potentially help out a Lot of you.
Adding a PR tracker/calculator to the app. If the client hits a 3RM of
squat for 205, then that could be added to the clients personal record
tracker. The calculator part would take the 3RM, and see what percentage
that is of the 1RM, and state the estimated 1RM. so lets say the clients
1RM is calculated as 220, then when the trainer says to do 8 reps to fail
on 8th rep, the client can see that they should be doing around 175lbs.

In the previous version of the app, you could add an exercise on the fly. It helped when you simply added another exercise or substituted an exercise for some reason and wanted to record it accurately. i.e. maybe you substitute a DB bench press for a BB bench press. This can still be done on the browser, but is no longer available on the app. I resort to making a note in a notebook and entering it later when I am at my computer.11 votes
- Sync with Fitbit , workouts for calorie burn
- Create a graph for calorie burn.
- Allow us to mark custom workouts as cardio
- In cardio, have empty comment box
Update the workout template section so that we can have more than 10 workouts in chronological order!
Right now, you can only have 10 workout templates before the system reads 11 as just below 1 and does not list the workout templates in order. For example, if you have 11 workout templates Trainerize will list your templates like this:
Day 4 etc...
Even if you write them out it lists in alphabetical order
Day Two etc....
Seems like an easy fix and it would make things alot easier when making large, multi day workout programs in the template.5 votes
Allow notes to be written for each individual set rather than only the overall workout. This provides much better feedback for the trainer
In the current version I can't write notes during individual exercises. I can only write notes for the workout overall.
I would love to be able to write a trainee note for each set. For example during the third set of bench press my client may experience a random sensation I want to monitor.
With a note that pops up in the history I can make mention of it during the next session. This makes me look attentive and professional.
I've used software that allowed this in the past and it was a valuable addition. I would love to see…18 votes
Allow weight sets reps all to be individual boxes instead of combined in the notes tab and allow the weight and reps to be modified for every set by the trainer8 votes
With a previous software that I've used, each exercise was rated on a difficulty level from 1-10, and when searching for exercises, you were able to sort based on difficulty level, which makes it much easier when trying to find exercises for extreme beginners, or extreme experts if necessary.13 votes
Before the update, clients could add an exercise to their workout, and now they can't. Given that things often have to be adjusted on the fly (based on injury, equipment availability, etc) they should be able to track what they did even if they have to adjust.3 votes
I wish you could have an option to hide workouts from a clients calendar until they are completed. I like to put 3-4 weeks of workouts in at a time and don't want my client to see what they are. Maybe it would be good to have a label that says Private Training, that only a coach can view, and when completed, they can then view it.8 votes
