This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Take away $1000 limit in Trainerize Pay

    A few of our products are over $1000 and in Trainerize Pay we have to send the client 2 invoices of $500. If the limit of $1000 was lifted we wouldn't have to send multiple invoices.

    You can now move your Trainerize Pay to a Stripe account and directly connect it to Trainerize.

    With the Stripe account,
    - you do not have the $1000 limit.
    - you get lower rates (Stripe’s official rates)
    - flexible payout schedules
    - full access to Stripes dashboard and reporting

    Simply go to your Payments page and hit Switch. You can create a new account or connect your existing Stripe account.

  2. Multiple clients for small group virtual training or live class video calls like zoom

    like you have the 1on1 training appointments but what about for group training?
    Like 3 or more people all on video as I demonstrate and then watch and Coach them as they perform the exercises

    The ability to do in-app group video calling is now in beta.

    Also, we will provide you with extra credits to try out the group video calling.

    The app layout is designed for the trainer /client in mind where the trainer’s video feed is larger and at the forefront for clients.

    Each client on the call is counted as a separate video calling stream So a 1 hour video call with 4 clients will take 4 hour credits.

    Currently you have to book the clients in so it’s great for small group training.

  3. Allow a video loop to keep playing while the timer keeps running

    Allow video playing while the timer keeps running.

    For Interval training is a big handicap to stop the timer to see the video...specially fot HIT workouts that need short bursts and flow.

    Is reaaly a big issue, many clients left the app due to this problem!

    The new interval timer with looping videos is slowly rolling out but you can manually turn it on via your settings > Advanced > Enable New Interval Workouts. Currently the looping videos are only for Trainerize videos only.

  4. Schedule appointments with multiple clients for team, or small group training.

    With the new Beta Appointments feature, it would be nice to add the ability to schedule appointments with multiple clients for the same day/time. Currently, you can only schedule one appointment with one client at a time. But if I want to schedule an appointment for 2 sisters who both train together at the same time with me, I can't add them both.

    Perhaps another idea is to allow appointments to be scheduled for groups and not just individuals, so that if I have more than one person training with me at a particular time, I can see that reflected…

  5. Sync my Trainerize appointments to Google Calendar

    I'm booking my PT sessions right now in the appointments tab. It would be great for this to sync to my Google calendar so I can see it.

    Upon setting up of your app for the first time, you/your clients will be prompted to pick a calendar to sync Trainerize appts to. Simply pick your Google calendar.

    Similarly, you can change your sync options manually in your Settings > Appointment sync on the mobile app.

    It seems a lot of the major fitness tracking apps are missing. Not having Garmin Connect or even Polar seems a missed opportunity.

  7. New nutritional breakdown is awful

    New nutritional breakdown is awful - we now have to click 3 times to view breakfast, lunch and dinner each day for a client, multiplied by 50+ clients is a lot more time added to a working day. It is clunky and not user friendly at all.... PLEASE change it back!

  8. Built-in meal plan generator/builder that gives meal plan with recipes and shopping list

    You pick a certain diet for them and from there can be a library of recipes to pick from like the workouts but for food. Then be able to swap out foods or change parts of their meal plan directly in Trainerize.

    Something like myPTHub or evolution nutrition. Keep everything under one roof.

    This should be viewable on the calendar without having to download an old-school PDF.

  9. Add ability for clients to favourite or save meals

    Clients should be able to create their frequently eaten meals and just say I ate it.

    -Clients can now save their meals to “My meals” to quickly reuse while tracking food
    (Available for both meal photos and full macro tracking in-app workflows);
    -Clients can access “My meals” under their account settings to view and manage their saved meals;

    Clients must update to App Version 7.16 in order to use the feature.

  11. Better Display for food brands

    Instead of putting the brand of the food on the same line (making it look like a very long run on sentence), it would be nice to have the brand displayed underneath in a lighter font color (like the serving size amount is displayed).

  13. I would really like a quick "Like" function for client activity.

    To be able to quickly acknowledge them without having to send a full message! Just like on FB or IG, to be able to simply "Like" that they checked in for cardio.

    This can be on the overview screen.

  15. Ability for clients to view a list of on demand workouts to start and filter them

    Build out an on-demand section like Peleton where clients can browse from a list of workouts and filter them by say Time, Duration, Equipment needed etc.

    How do I enable all my clients in a certain program or mindbody contract or group to use the full meal tracking in-app beta? It's not one at a time is it?

  19. Ability to invite unlimited non-digital coaching clients to make appointments and take payments without taking up an active client seat.

    I have to reactive someone’s account and set up a subscription right now. I wish I could just let people book appointments and make payments without taking a digital coaching seat. Something like a "lite" client account.

    Have unlimited people you can invite to pay and book appointments.
