Show macro breakdown per meal (not just calories)
Make macro breakdown per meal vs just total added? For example - here there's are 2 meals added. Overview page lists calories, but once you have more than one meal, you can't see what made up the macros, or where they came from. If a client (or myself) wanted to see where the carbs were coming from (whether it be as an education tool or just to see what was carb dense), we can't tell what foods made up the total carb count and how much. Yes, it's on the single items info when it is being added, but trying to go back, see those per item would be a major pain. Having a total calorie, carb, protein and fat breakdown per meal would be so helpful!!

Really disappointed this hasn’t been resolved yet considering FitnessPal does this as a basic feature and has done since I can remember. It’s very difficult to persuade clients to jump to the in app tracker when this critical feature is missing. Surely it can’t be that difficult to change? It’s been over a year now?! Really frustrating to be honest.

Any update on when this will be resolved? Doesn't make sense that Macros per ingredient or food item are essentially hidden once the meal is logged. No way for the trainer to see where the Overall macro metrics are coming from. And no way for the client to educate themselves on what food items may be spiking a macro.
Should be able to simply click on any one food item and see its macros (and other nutritional detail) at any time after the food has been logged.

Hello Everybody,
I want to start using Trainerize to train my clients but I am having the issue with using the nutrition part.
I have payed for this month the advanced nutrition add-on, but cannot modify the macros because the protein is much higher than it should be.And my question is which work around are you guys using in the mean time?
Do you use MyFitnessPAL?
Thank you!

Any update on when this is going to be developed? I agree this is a critical part of making suggestions for your client when it comes to coaching.

@jovana Pavlovic - when will this update be put into effect?

Hey team, any updates on the release of this update? Seems all I'm hearing from my clients since switching them to the in-app tracker is how macros per meal would make their lives 100X easier. Would love some transparency on the ETA of this rollout. I've been telling them "soon" for months now.

Any news on how far alone you are with making this happen?

Please add this as soon as possible. I am really happy with what you guys have done so far with nutrition part of the app but this is a big hole to the process when coaching clients nutritionally. Thank you!

Would like there to be an option to see individual macros for each food item for both my fitness pal connection & the food tracking from the app itself this way I can see how they inputed it and if it looks correct. EX: I see my full clients meals included for the day but then when I look at the overall macros for the day it doesn't look accurate, should be about 150 grams protein, but she sees on MFP and whats transferred to trainerize says over 200 grams. which isnt accurate. so one of the food items she inputted doesnt have the right macros. , so would help to see which item is showing inaccurate macros.

This feature is needed without a doubt. In fact, it’s a wonder how it wasn’t added sooner.
This is important on a host of reasons - but for those of us living with diabetes it’s very limiting that you don’t have this yet.
Please add it ASAP

Sorry to be blunt but it's hard to call yourself a nutrition app without a macro breakdown

This is really important to my clients and if it shows the total calories it should be able to break down the macros for those cals. Please please add this in or my clients won’t use this.

Agree - everyone should go vote to add MyMacros+ as a compatible tracking app as it does just this!

I would personally love this for my clients. Learning to plan their macros per meal would be easier if they could see each meals P/C/F.

Totally agree. Why not just keep the list of ingredients with the macro breakdown and the total?
Since you already selected them to enter the meal it just makes sense to see what you've added. Helps coaches identiy and share the biggest 'problems' with the client his or her's food choices. -

Being able to see the macro break down for each meals. So that you can see if a client is have evenly spaced protein through out the day to aid in absorbing protein. Rather than them eating lots at dinner then barely any breakfast & lunch.
