Make the Macro split 100% customisable
Ability to customise macro split to individual needs. i.e. 45% protein, 20% carbs, 35% fat.
Also have the ability to customise meals, i.e. I get my clients to avoid carbs for breakfast if they train in the evenings or increase carbs post workout rather than having a even split of carbs throughout all meals

Upvoting because this would be super beneficial. I see a ton of suggestions for different pre-set macro splits, but ultimately I think having a super long list of pre-set splits is a lot of wasted work. It would be way better if you manually adjust the percentages yourself (and of course you'd be required to have the total equal 100%). Like when switching from a cut to a bulk, I currently have to switch from high protein to balanced because the increased calories brings the protein target super high, and even using the "balanced" targets the protein target is way higher than the top-end recommended protein target of 1.6 - 2.2 g/kg of bodyweight (44% higher when bulking on 2200kcal). I really want to be able manually lower the super high protein targets, then adjust the carb/fat targets for individual preference.

This would be useful for carb cycling as well. Any word??

The protein intake on some is VERY high. So it would be great to be able to enter your own macro splits / percentages when using the in app meal planner. Also just rounding to nearest 1400/ 1500 etc doesnt work for all my clients.

It would be great to have the following spoilt for the macros
60 % protein, 20% carb and 20% fat
70 protein, 15 carb and 15 fat
70 protein 10 carb and 20 fat -

I just subscribed to the smart meal planner and really disappointed that I can't change the macro targets I have made fro my clients. Everyone has different macro needs and this is too basic for what I offer my clients.

I would like the ability to carb bunch in the day and limit carbs at dinner time. This could be done with a toggle per meal, e.g limit carbs

Many reasons why this needs to be lowered: bikini competition prep is one example. But Gastic sleeve and gastric bypass is the main reason. Unfortunately, clients who have had these surgeries can't physically eat 1400cal due to the restriction. These clients usually eat anywhere from 800-1200cal. I don't like it being that low, but this is just the reality of what is tolerated and recommended from their doctors.

If you aren't able to set custom macros with the meal planner, then it should allow you to keep the macro goal option. I think it is critical to be able to set custom macros for our clients, not just a generic range that the meal planner provides.

I NEED TO BE ABLE TO ADD MACROS BY CUSTOM PERCENTAGE OR SPECIFIC GRAM

This needs to change in both directions. A small 40kg bikini competitor will need days lower than 1400.
More obviously though, 4000 is WAY to restrictive if you have any high level male athlete who is wanting to get bigger.

Super important! It is too generic right now

This needs to be updated asap! I too have women who are very small and their calorie allowance is lower than 1400.

Must be able to plan the macros to the client in an exact measurement or at the very least from 1400 - 1450 and not a 100 calorie difference. Also would like to be able to add 5 meals a day to match the macros, not the current way where it only allows so many meals based on the macros. This forces me to set the macros high and then look for meals based on the calories and macros that I would like for the client.

This is what I need. I will have to switch to another platform if this isn’t an option soon because the way it is now does not work for me when I am wanting to adjust macros (ie: adding 5 or 10g to specific macro)

Ability to enter our own macro targets instead of % splits. Allows for minor adjustments (eg: add 10g protein). I’d like it to show a macro breakdown in app rather than have to upload a PDF. May go back to True Coach

Having the ability to custom macros, calories (ex. 1480 vs. 1400) and number of meals is so important to a good plan. Offering only 3 meals max for a certain number of calories is so limiting and makes it hard to teach clients how to spread their meals out throughout the day. I'm having to pay extra for another website to offer exactly what I need for my clients. Being able to add new recipes into the program and allow clients to pull for the database is nice - Now if we could just get more options available on how custom we can make their plans it would be amazing.

To be able to choose the macros without being limited to 20% , 30%, 40 %
And the option to have a slider or similar, that will move the calories within specific numbers, and option to have high carbs days, example training days.
Ex. 37% P , 36% C, 27 % F
The variable calories to be able to select days of the week as higher calories, and different days as lower calories, with weekly average the same.
Ex. Target 1600kcal avg
Mon-Fri 1400kcal
Sat-Sun 2100kcal
