We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Payment method

    We need more payment methods in the Stripe/ Trainerize Pay integration.

    Currently it only accepts credit/debit cards which take 2.9% +30c on EACH transaction. This can get way too expensive considering some people do weekly payments and the integration isn't any good either. No freezing memberships, no payment reminders, no instant payouts, etc.

    People at least need the option to use Bank transfers, Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay etc

    I train my clients as hybrid clients (in person/online). I have 3 sessions per week and charge weekly. It would be great if I could have my clients not be charged again until they have completed all 3 sessions. Currently there is no option for recurring sessions.

  4. Have a Product or Add-On option that subscribes purchaser to all On-Demand programs

    After looking into creation of and implementing an On-Demand Program library for clients to access, I discovered that the most efficient way to do so was to set up automation on Product Starts to subscribe them to 20 Add-On programs. This limits trainers from mass subscribing clients to allow access to On-Demand Programs.

    I propose that an additional option be added to current Product Automation (ie "Subscribe to all On-Demand Programs") or an additional Product type be added to accomplish the same goal.

  5. Add Terms and Conditions agreement to the Check out page of a product

    Rather than having to connect zappier and a third party document signing app, Trainerize should have the option for coaches to add a "Terms and Conditions Agreement" to each product. This would allow for a streamlined selling process inside of trainerize.

  6. Purchase a product direct from the app

    If a visitor on the app page will download the app, and he is NOT a member already, then he cannot use it. I had some incidents with people who downloaded the app and could not use it because they were not members of my clubs.

    So, I think it will benefit the app page visitors when they download the app to have the option to buy a product directly from the app, access the app, and use it based on the access the product purchased provides.

  9. Subscription Cancellation Fee

    Currently, I send a separate link to our clients that cancel their long term subscriptions, prematurely. It would be great if there was a cancel button that the coach can activate or the client, in which an early cancel invoice will be sent to them so that their program can be canceled out. The coach should be able to set the cancel fee prior to the client enrolling as an attachment to the subscription.   15. Multiple bank accounts for multiple sites

    We run an expanding chain of gyms that offer PT services, each gym has it's own subsidiary bank account. At present on trainerize if we use it to take payments, all funds would be paid into one account. My request would be that for each location you could add its own bank details for payments to be paid to, so that each location can better manage and control it's own finances.

    It would be great if new customers could be re-direct to an external URL direct link after completing a purchase so they can automatically be taken to a thank you page.
