This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Add a referral section for clients to refer friends to sign up to your service

    Existing member gets discount from next payment, new member gets discount from first month. Trainer gets to pre set what the discount would be.

  2. Ability to pause, freeze or pro-rate a payment to accomodate vacations and time-off

    Ability to pause, freeze, pro-rate or change payment date of client's next invoice payment date instead of cancelling their plans and restarting.

    This is to acomodate when clients want to go on vacation, are sick or have any other time off.

  3. Allow free trial option with credit card

    This is good to get new customers to sign up themselves. People would like to try before spending their money. A few days or one week free trial will be an awesome feature.

  4. Allow in-app sign ups and seamless in-app purchases via AppStore or PlayStore

    My business has a significant amount of people trying to download my app and they're blocked from signing up.

    Also, after that, they cannot upgrade to a paid plan in-app.

    We are ok with the app stores taking 15% of the commission as it outweighs the loss in business of people not being able to seamlessly sign up.

  5. Ability to add custom tax rates to our packages

    I think it would be a huge benefit to have the ability to add custom tax rates to Trainerize Pay. For example, here in Ontario, I would add a tax rate of 13% for our HST. This would then allow me to market programs for $99 plus tax, instead of $111.87.

  6. Ability to lock a client in for a contract term for installments

    I want to be able to take x monthly payments for period and lock the client in once they've agreed to the product.

  7. Charge Late fee for missed payments

    I have some clients that consistently miss payments. In order to curb this behaviour i would like the ability to add a missed payment fee after the 2nd or third attempt (or attempt of my choosing).

  8. Allow owners to attribute a sale to a trainer or coach for commission payouts

    The owner of a Trainerize account would have one Trainerize Pay account but be able to create payouts for their trainers based on the products they sold that month, etc.

  10. Ability to mark payment as completed to record offline through cash, cheque, Zelle, Venmo payments

    The ability to record "OFFLINE" payments like cash, check/cheques, Venmo/Zelle/Interac/Revolut in Trainerize Pay to allow for better invoicing tracking. Being able to track payments for online/offline clients would make the business side of things easier to manage.

  13. Subscription Revenue Forecasting or better exports by membership type

    Allow trainerize pay users to see a revenue forecast of what's expected to come in the coming weeks/months/quarter/year etc.

    Or at least make it easier to export my current subscriptions by membership type so I can run different models for revenue projections.

  14. Affiliate System - Proportion of purchase going to affiliate partner if someone purchases through a unique link

    Provide associates with unique links to your products. If they promote your product and someone buys it through their unique link, the purchase money is split into pre determined %'s to you and the person who sold the product for you.

  15. Ability for clients to purchase ready-made programs through the Mobile Appp

    All of our clients use the app for online training. We set them up initially on a program, but it would be great if they could purchase additional programs or workouts through the mobile app once their program was completed. When they receive a notification that their program is ending it could have a renewal option with payment and additional program options.

    They could have the option to select from pre approved programs, filter by type of program or a la carte. Once they select and pay, then the program would be added to their account.

  16. Automatic tax calculation for online businesses

    I am a trainer that sells my services online, where my clients can come from anywhere. I need to set my location, and have the app to be able to detect the buyer's city/state/country and apply the correct taxes for my business.

  17. Add the ability to redirect new buyers to a specified page after purchasing.

    One example: A new client pays for a coaching program then is immediately redirected to my calendly page to schedule a consultation.

    They could also be directed to an upsell page with more coaching add-ons.

    One more, be redirected to a document page to sign par-q's waivers, etc...
