We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. subscription. option for free trial then recurring monthly subscription for clients

    Hi there. whenever i advertise the app a lot of clients search for it on Playstore or App store and get confused when they get prompted to "sign in"

    they find it tedious to have to first message me as the trainer to email them an invite and then they can finally sign up.

  2. Down payment

    I would like to offer clients the ability to make a down payment and then have the remaining payments auto draft. For example; for a $5000 plan they could pay 20% down ($1000) an have the remaining $4000 paid as monthly installaments of $363.63. I know I could create a product for $2000 then create another product that has recurring 11 month payments of $363.63 but that seems tedious and unnecessarily clogs up the products page. This would make this seamless and I could offer it in the app instead of having to do it on the backend every time.

  3. Be able to rerun failed payments quicker than 3 days

    I have only recently started using the payments feature and I was so disappointed today when I had 3 failed payments to see I have to wait another 3 days for them to rerun when each client messaged me instantly to ask me to rerun. It's inconvenient for both me and them - they have to ensure the funds stay available in their account for a further 3 days. I feel like there should be an instant feature for this and mark this as high priority on my list!

  4. Payment management and session credits

    Please have a way we can pause, postpone or discount our client payments, as well as add extra session credits.
    It would be nice to have a payment option for recurring direct debit clients to have session credits per payment, so if they miss a payment then they can’t book a class etc.

  6. Allow patients to purchase large ticket programs & services with Sezzle, Affirm, Klarma, etc.

    By allowing clients to use "pay later" services like Sezzle, Affirm, Klarma, and others, we would increase program retention and increase sales. Phased personal training programs would be much more palatable to most clients if they were able to pay in installments.

  7. Ability to let clients pay in their currency of their country of residency

    If businesses operate in multiple countries, with different currencies, it would be more optimal, not so costly, and more familiar for people, if they could pay in their currency of their country of residency. This functionality is already part of Stripe and works through Stripe directly, just to choose other currencies, it's not yet part of the Trainerize Pay automation. I would suggest to create a functionality as part of the Trainerize Pay automation, where trainers would be able to choose between multiple currencies and so to change the currency.

    I have my clients on 3, 6, and 12 month plans at 1, 2 or 3 times per week. Sometimes, they decide they want to add days or increase the duration of their plan, but they don’t always want to add a whole new contract. They just want the remainder of their current agreement to be different.

    It would be great if some sort of incentive was provided to the client to use the affiliate link.

  11. Allow trainers to add their own payment details to their trainer profile.

    This would be a great option to have, especially for gyms. As a group of 5 gyms that have many personal trainers, not having this option make things quite hard. It would be great for clients to have the option to pay our trainers directly. We have had to find another alternative because trainerize doesn't currently have this available.

  17. When a basic client needs to repurchase session credits I would like to see an auto message sent to them with a link to purchase.

    My basic clients don't repurchase session credits because of the challenge getting to the purchase link. It would be very helpful to have an auto message sent to them when their credit expires with a link to repurchase.

    For Indians UPI is the preferred mode of online payment. It will help your company if you could integrate this. Loads of payment wallets you can work with to achieve this.

  20. Ability to see which Session Pack option was purchased and filter view

    On the Products page, session packs don't show "Current" and "Upcoming" clients. Would like to see the ability to filter the clients that have purchase each option within a Session Pack for easier management.
