Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. mealplan 2 weeks ahead

    I would like to have the option to plan ahead 2 weeks instead of 1 week.
    This makes planning easier for the clients

  2. Useless unless client can exclude allergy/dislikes

    With respect I’m very confused as to how you guys could offer a meal plan product without the option to exclude foods people don’t like or are allergic to. I know you started offering simpler meal options but they are still waaaayy overcomplicated. As of right now the meal planner isn’t even an option.

  4. Add manual creation option with now meal quota restrictions

    I have a client who responds very well to a progressive increase in caloric intake throughout the day. She starts with a rather small breakfast, a medium sized lunch, a large dinner, and then a snack at night. This helps her sleep better and manage cravings that she tends to get in the evenings (which is also just a common thing in general).

    She has a rather low TDEE, so when trying to lose weight, we are at about 1500 calories total. The Meal Planner in-app limits me to creating only three meals for her at this calorie number. I…

  5. I want to be able to see a list of ALL available meals

    Sometimes a meal I'm looking for won't pop up even when it fits within their macros or calories, even if I un-select the options for this. I just want to be able to see a list of all available meals in the entire library and build out the meal plan how I see fit. Also, the ability for only 2 meals a day is an absolute necessity and adding time of day to the meals as well. Not everyone eats at the same time.

  6. Caribbean Meals i.e Jamaica, etc

    A large portion of my clients are Caribbean, and the current meal database does not reflect their cultural foods. Most of the meals available are centered around standard American or Western diets, which makes it difficult for my clients to accurately track meals they actually eat.

    Caribbean cuisine includes a wide variety of balanced, nutrient-dense meals such as rice and peas, ground provisions, stewed meats, curries, seafood, and traditional vegetables. Not seeing these options creates a gap in accessibility and inclusivity within the app

    we need more recipes, ability to choose by cuisines, adjustable macros. make the shopping lists smaller or be able to have an adjustable option , so that people don't have to break the bank buying so many ingredients.

  10. I would like to see more variety and customization in meal plans like in Nutriadmin.

    I would like to see dishes by type of Cuisine ( Korean, Greek, chinese, etc.) I would also like to have the option to create meal plans that make my shopping list smaller , so that the client doesn't have to break the bank buying a ton of ingredients. I would also like the ability to adjust the macros to the percentage i want. The program also needs more recipes. I would like meals to be organized by amount of time needed to prepare.

  11. copy a previous days meal

    Most people have the same or similar breakfasts, lunches and snacks. To make it a bit easier can we add a "copy previous days meal" button. It's a bit clunky swapping everything 1 by 1 and waiting for everything to load etc.

  12. to be able to adjust calories without deleting the meals already put in place

    some clients like to stick with the same meals each time i readjust their calories the meal plan re sets and they have to plan it out all over again and its time consuming.

  13. add alternative day/week/month meal plans

    where it says day 1 have a drop down so it can be week 1/month 1 ect for bulk prepping. i work with autistic clients and being able to stick to the same meal plan every week is ideal they like the visual so the pdf version is no good they also need the videos of instructions to follow words get to overwhelming and telling them to just use day 1 as week 1 is to complicate they just don't understand. and swapping oout every meal for 7 days is alot of work.

  14. High protein Tag on the Smart Meal planner

    Adding a high Protein tag to the smart meal planner so coaches & clients can easily locate them. Also calorie brackets so clients can see what calories they have left, example 200kcal, & just select the meals that show within this range.

  15. Plan goes over the set calories

    I regularly set clients calorie target to, for example, 1600 kcal, and when I then select their meals, I see the daily caloric values go over 1700 or even 1800 for no real reason - hundreds of kcals over the target. Even when I pick only native recipes (not my own custom ones) it keeps exceeding the target. This will confuse clients and impact their results.

  19. Recipes in General

    Right now you can only choose very general macros then recipes to go along with those. It would be really awesome to just have a healthy recipe library in general that isn't specific to macros but labeled low-carb or low-fat, etc. This way they can use their customized macros but still have support with their nutrition and choose to eat what works for them.
