Voice messages!
It’s a bit hard to get your excitement or instructions across when sending written messages so I think voice messaging would be a great addition. I’ve had clients reach out to me this way on IG and the response is much more fluid.

Thank you for the votes. As this is one of the most popular requests, the product team has pulled this into the roadmap for 2022.
Please continue adding new ideas and votes on ideas.trainerize.com.
We’ll post new updates here when the project has started.
Thanks!

Instant Messenger
Please vote if you agree!
When you're used to messaging clients on WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, IG, or iMessage, switching to the Trainerize Messenger feels slow, outdated, and non-user friendly.
This is a request/idea to transition into an "Instant Messenger" format that includes:
Read receipts; so we know when our clients have seen our messages and vice versa.
A media folder, so we can access shared photos and videos quickly.
Online status, showing a small green dot or "online" badge when the client/coach is currently online.
Left/right speech bubble format to maximize space in the chat window.
Ability to "reply" to…

Automatically send a message to a client who doesn't log in a workout for that day. That could be an in app message or as an email

Would be very helpful if there was search inside each conversation in messages

pin notes, links or messages in group chats
Some form of 'description' section on the group chat feature or the ability to pin certain information like links or messages to the top of group chats for easy access by all group members

comment on individual exercises
comment on individual exercises, that I'd be able to then see week-to-week, rather than having to scroll back to an old workout and then open

Ability to delete a bulk amount of reoccurring scheduled messages
For example, i have set a check in message for 52 weeks of the year and i cannot remove it. I have to go through and delete them individually. Aint no body got time for that

Ability to schedule the same message to multiple people
There are certain scenarios where I want to schedule the same message to multiple clients. I know it can be done as an immediate message but would be helpful to be able to schedule these in advance.

Video Messages when on Desktop
It'd be awesome to be able to do video messages from desktop, so I don't have to go back and forth on mobile a ton, and since it would upload a lot faster than on mobile.

Sending mass messages to client's phones via text as well as through the app
I would like to send mass text messages to clients who are not engaging in their program. People who are not engaging in the program are obviously not on the app. i need to be able to send them a text message, encouraging them to re-engage. Otherwise I will never reach them. It is inevitable that 100% of people will fall along the way. Whey they are in a bad place, they are not using their app - but you can reach them immediately and anywhere with a text. Give it some consideration.

Ability to send automated text messages when selling a product as a confirmation of sale
So currently when selling an add-on session to my client it sends them a confirmation email. My clients are very busy and sometimes they don't always get to their emails. If an automated text confirmation can be sent as well, this would help speed up the ability to have the trainer paid for the add-on sessions.

Ability for trainers to be able to schedule pre-written announcements for a certain date, to be sent out to all clients (sent individually)
Currently you can go into each clients calendar and click 'auto message' and schedule a message to go out on a particular date. But you have to go into each clients calendar to do that. It would be great to be able to schedule an auto message that can go to all the clients individually but do it one time instead of going in to each client to schedule the message. Make the group messaging to be able schedule a day and time for those to go out. Thank you!

Ability to edit/delete a repeated/recurring appointment, auto-message, habit or body stats or workout all together
I then schedule that message and select repeat every day at 8 am for the next 12 weeks.
15 mins later I realize I’ve spelled something wrong or it’s at the wrong time or date.
Now I have to edit / delete each message one by one. The original “parent” message has no ability to interact with the “Child” messages. The best example of this is scheduling an appointment on a calendar that has other “reoccurrences” when you up date the parent the child reoccurrences have the option of being updated as well

send exercise in message
I want to be able to share an exercise directly from the message box. I wish I could search inside the message for an exercise like I can while creating a workout.
This instance I"m trying to share a warm up exercise for bad shoulder mobility and this client is on a membership master workout program so I can't just put it in her program.

Automated "Missed Workout" messages...
We have non-editable missed payment messages, but what about a custom message for when people miss their workouts, rather than just relying on the tags feature.
It will add a further automation layer, therefore less stress on the trainer(s), when they have multiple people missing workouts.
For example, if we can set the time of the message to send at, say 7pm, asking why they haven't recorded a workout.
"Hey {FirstName}, I notice you didn't compete your workout today.. Why?"

Add in a heart to the “liking” part to messages
My clients always send me messages of how they’re doing and I feel bad just giving a thumbs up so a heart would be great to recognize their message!
